  1. From how much this fight drastically picked up after the preview, it kind of reminds me of Madara vs Aizen. It also involves the winner using a giant kaiju form, and a fake out where the loser tears out the winners heart, and a death where the winner splits the loser into many pieces using a circular object….. WAIT A MINUTE

  3. This episode… wasn't all that great, in my opinion. Still pretty good, always great to see them go into detail on new series… But my God, put the smoking gun down guys. They made it so incredibly obvious who was gonna win. Granted, that enhanced the fakeout death, but made the outcome super predictable overall.

  4. 32:04 – Just to clarify, A Certain Magical Index is the main series and the Scientific series, are spin-offs focused on the other Level 5 Espers (Railgun, Dark Matter, ITEM/Mugino, Accelerator, Misaki, and etc) which are from the Science Faction. Index Librorum Prohibitorum is an English nun from the Magic side and titular character based on the actual Index Librorum Prohibitorum, which is about the banned books, while the nun has 100k+ forbidden magical grimoires that were hidden by the Church (her importance to Touma, the protagonist, is why the series focuses on them and the Level 5 Espers like Misaka, are just important side characters.) The sprites might seem off, since Misaka’s is based on her sprite from the Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax fighting games (which Misaka and Kuroko are playable, alongside Touma and Accelerator as assists) and Killua’s was made to be similar to fit the style. Also, side note, the 50+ LN series is the LN series in Japan and has even collaborated with other popular series (like Durarara, Konosuba, Code Geass, and etc) and resurrected Virtual On (only in Japan), getting a mech crossover game called A Certain Magical Virtual On (which also has a novel.)
