  1. I’m still not in favor of them drafting Maye in the first place. They should’ve traded the pick for more picks. They have too many gaps to fill.
Also…they never should’ve let Zappe go.

  2. I'm more pissed about them trotting Drake Maye out there behind a sieve of an o-line during garbage time once everybody had already turned the TV off, than I am of how bad their o-line looks. That was a demoralizing loss, very hard to watch.

  3. At the very least they should have put Maye in the series before they did, but they didn’t even do that right. This staff is incompetent but we will have to put up with the simps in the media protecting this waste at coach because he’s a DEI hire

  4. Not only are Pats a bottom-5 offense at best, their D, that carries the team, has no Barmore, and no play-calling LB (now that Bentley is out). I was genuinely amazed at the lack of moves by Mayo – I suspect his comment 'xxx is the head coach of the offense and xxx is the head coach of the def' may actually be more true than we realize. It appears that while Mayo is easily a more likeable person and leader than his predecessor, he doesn't seem to know very much. Outcoached and outschemed, again.

  5. I lay more of the roster issues on Belichick than Wolf here. It seems the offense is starting from the ground floor. Trying to bring in players who, let's be honest, have no desire to play here since the Brady era is over. Championships are a distant memory and some players would rather win games than make a little extra. Mayo and Covington are working with a good defense and can get things right. Van Pelt and Peters have a near impossible task of making this line strong and offense efficient.
Not sure who's decision it was to cut Zappe but Mayo has to take full responsibility for that. I agree, sign him back and put JM on the practice squad. Still early enough to correct that mistake.

  6. rodgers makes a difference. Lazard had 23 receptions all last year for 311 and 1 td. with his old friend Rodgers back, he already has 11 receptions for 148 yards and 3 td receptions in 3 games. rodgers is a different animal. Look at the names on the jerseys too. the Jets are just a better team and they are just the tip the iceburg right now since they did not really play any vets in pre-season at all.
