Producer, musician, and connector Kenny Beats takes us on a journey from his college days at Berklee College of Music, to blowing up on the EDM scene, to reemerging as a beloved producer and content creator, all while building one of the most interactive music-obsessed communities on the internet.
A true renaissance man, Kenny Beats has built an entire network around his “Don’t Over Think Shit” mantra, and from that created his sensational YouTube series ‘The Cave,’ landed record deals for members of his Discord, produced records for some of the biggest artists in music, and somehow still found time to release his own debut album, ‘Louie.’
In this episode we hear how Kenny’s father’s basketball career influenced his music, why Billboard placements don’t matter if your friends think you’re whack, and how to keep creating and reinventing yourself through all the trials and tribulations life throws your way.

I remember Manny's, on 48th Street right next to Sam Ash on 48th Street. wow!
Started making music over covid, played guitar my whole life and watching kenny on streams and dots was so inspiring. Not even for just music but life, he’s such a positive force in the industry
Love these, they’re fire man. Keep them coming 🙂
I had a dream where I was smoking weed with kenny in his studio on top of a skyscraper in NY and we fuckin parachuted off of it. Idk it was awesome haha
literally I jus thought to myself randomly yesterday ‘there needs to be a video on Kenny Beats & his work ethic’ and here we are. Thank y’all.
so inspiring, such incredible gems in here. Kenny is such a real one!
Wow this is amazing as a producer myself love everything Kenny stands for and the fact he's even willing to share his knowledge with others is one of many reasons why I am a huge fan of his
When Kenny is speaking about those 14 hours a day in studio I cant help to ask myself. How is he doing that without serious back problems?? I suffer like hell when I have to sit for 8 hours a day with breaks. Can’t imagine 14 hours🙁
Incredible! Thanks for sharing it.
Yall should film Thelma day to day to add to the great Constant
i seriously love this dude
message of the video: always satisfy your ego, don't satisfy your artistic desires.
