I have to start with last night…where the Chargers were able to hold off the Bengals rally and pick up a huge win on Sunday Night Football.
And all I saw last night as the Bengals mounted their comeback was, “the Chargers are Chargering…they’re going to blow it again”…but I think we might be witnessing the death of Chargering.
Herbert was nails on the final drive…the big throws to Ladd McConkey. Harbaugh of course deserves credit…but I do think the ultimate cure to all of this is the guy wearing #27 who took off for that game-winning score. JK Dobbins has brought so much positivity…and the ultimate “I don’t give an eff” attitude to this team given all of the injuries and everything. I mean…I loved Collinsworth yelling “get down” as JK says “screw that” and does a Superman dive into the endzone. Don’t leave it in the hands of the kickers – go win the game.
And you can just see it – the confidence level from this team just looks and feels different this year – even with that close call last night.
And the Chargers now have a 94% chance to make the playoffs after that win. They’re in the top wild card spot and just 2 games back of the Chiefs for the division. The Bengals odds have dropped down to just 13%.
And it’s beyond frustrating to see this happen to Cincy again. It’s hard to play any better than Joe is playing right now…I mean look at this
In the Bengals 7 losses this year, he has 18 touchdowns to just 2 interceptions…it’s inexcusable to not win games when you’re getting this kind of QB play. I have never seen anything like it before and I don’t know how the Bengals fix it. I think we’re at the point where some changes have to happen in Cincy because there is just way too much talent there for this to keep happening.

Great quarterbacks don't spend the off-season screwing around and drop three games to start the season. Burrow is an absolute clown.
Everyone crying for poor Joe. Herbert has been dealing with this his entire career until now. Herbert is the only QB in NFL history to lead a team to a winning record with a bottom 3 defense in 2022.
Welcome to the Cincinnati Chargers , the Bengals are Chargering that’s all that’s to it. Other teams have had seasons of being the best loser. This isn’t new.
