OMG!when I was really young I loved MLP bur as I got older I outgrew them and the only girly toys were barbie and other fashion dolls and they weren't any empowering girls shows like there are now so I switched over to TMNT, Transformers, Biker mice from Mars and Street sharks as my main form of cartoon entertainment. Also began reading goosebumps books so now I love horror.

A little Transformers history for those who are interested, back when Marvel bought the Japanese owned franchise (then known as The Microchangers), then director of the new Transformers show Bob Budianshy thought that girls wouldn't like the show and therefore marketed both the 80s cartoon and toys to be a purely boys thing. He had no reason to doubt this decision as the demographic ratings for shows at the time backed up his belief. However, he would discover that his own daughters watch and even enjoyed the show, so as an experiment, he created the first female Transformer, Arcee, to gadge how boys would react. If they didn't like it, she would be silently removed as she was the only one, it wouldn't be difficult to do so. Adding Arcee would prove to be a good decision as not only did more boys begin to watch, but more girls did as well, which led to more female Transformers being added to both the Autobots AND Deceptions rosters

  8. story 2. Why didn't you just take your mug home and use what the company offered? Or if you wanted your own mug, go to the store and get yourself a cheap one that didn't look like a blue generic one. That way NO ONE should have thought that your mug was company bought and 'free' for all to use.

  9. Wheelchair story: OP, how old were you when this story took place? And did you actually press charges? (I hope so.) You didn't make either point clear. The only other thing I could suggest should you ever have a repeat is to loudly yell "HELP" and "SOMEONE CALL THE POLICE" as loudly as possible to get other peoples attention. You shouldn't HAVE to, but reality is different from should have beens.

  12. Also Karen and Kevin thank God that I wasn't there cuz he even has a disabled man I come up and I found my little golfing Hammer surprise I carry and they both been laying on the ground going maybe surprised Pikachu face I should leave my hands my mouth to myself and leave others alone

  17. Not having your dog on a leash is abuse, plain and simple.
    Story4 OP is a terrible pet owner and should be given some hate for the off leash thing alone. Let alone still doing it after the dog got lost once.
    I hope that OP4 never gets another pet, pets deserve better

  19. Last story. In Australia it is called a cheque and you have almost zero chance of using one to pay for food or car repairs. (because they bounce) Only usable for things like electricity etc. My bank advised all customers last month that they are going to stop issuing cheque books because virtually no one is using them. Plastic or cash.

  20. Story 7, I collect Hot Wheels cars and trucks and I once had over 4,500 of them. The ones i made sure that i got were the ones from the McDonald's Happy Meals. The Hot Wheels that came in the McDonald's meals were exclusive to the Happy Meal and could not be found anywhere else so i made sure to get at least 5 of each kind when they were released. Even as a kid i knew that sometimes something could become valuable years later and so I made sure to keep a complete set of each year's cars in the plastic bag unopened. Later i handed most of my collection down to my niece and she also collected more cars. At 17 she has over 6,000 Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars hanging on her wall in the original packaging. My collecting the McDonald's exclusive cars paid off big time for her last year. She had been begging my brother for an Opel GT sports car since she was 6 years old because they looked like a miniature Corvette. I helped find one for sale on line that had a blown engine bt all of the parts to fix it were in the trunk. When it came time to purchase the car the guy overhead my brother and niece talking about her collection. They started talking because he was an avid Hot Wheels collector himself. When he came to deliver the Opal he asked to see her collection. He then noticed the cars in plastic bags and asked where they came from at which time I explained about the McDonald's exclusive cars from the 1970s and 80s and that they could not be found elsewhere as each one was exclusive to a particular year and was never made again and that i had collected 5 complete sets of the cars from 1978 to 1988 and 4 sets including the ones on my niece's shelf. The guy asked if I would be interested in selling him a set and we did some research to determine the value of a complete ten year set of McDonald's cars. I was shocked to find out that the complete set of 80 exclusive cars was worth a very large amount of money if they were unopened. At the end of the discussion we got the Opal GT for my niece and $10,000 in trade for 80 unopened Hotwheels cars that were exclusively designed for the McDonald's Happy Meals. My niece and my brother spent 9 months rebuilding the engine in the car and on her 16th birthday she started driving it to school. I looked her car up in databases to find that they only imported 373 Opal GTs into the United States and hers is one of 40 that were not converted to left hand drive meaning that the steering wheel is on the right side of the car. One of my brother's neighbors is an auction appraisal specialist for Barrett-Jackson and he values my niece's car at almost $60,000 because it is so rare. I never even dreamed that my collection of McDonald's Hotwheels cars from the Happy Meals would turn in to a trade that would result in a $60,000 car and $10,000 cash. By the way her Opal is one of only 36 1973 Opal GTs that are registered for road use in the entire country and it is owned by a 17 year old girl and driven daily as a car is meant to be driven. She is one of the most popular students in her school as everyone is envious of her "Baby Corvette". The principal of her school refuses to let her park in the student car park as he is terrified that another student might hit it on accident so she has to park in the teacher's lot ri by ht next to his truck.

  21. Title story: Karen & Kevin are probably lucky all they got charged with was assault. Grabbing a disabled person in a wheelchair & trying to force that person to go with you can be viewed as attempted kidnapping, which is a much more serious charge.

  29. The last story remined me of this. I bought a car for a hundred dollars because the owner said the transmission was shot. When I got it home. I lifted the hood then seeing the transmission linkage was loose. I tightened it up and had a great car for a hundred dollars.
