1) Dude obviously wants to get busy with his GF, which is understandable. However, he could explain the situation to her, and take the extra jacuzzi time and booze. 20 minutes isn't THAT long…
That hotel story is disgusting. What a shithole of a hotel. Nobody had a house-keeping card? Nobody had a physical override key? (Suppose the girlfriend had called for help inside the room and then passed-out? Too bad, she'll just have to wait or she can just die. No refunds, I'm sure.) The guest was an unreasonable jerk, but I wish you had named the hotel so we'd all know where this hellish place was and we could avoid it. And OP is a freaking LIAR. 20 minutes? He says it takes 20 minutes work to reprogram the locks. He also says maintenance is over 20 minutes away. That means a minimum 40-minute wait, and when they say 40, they usually mean 80. Hope you really like running around in a towel. If I was lied to and mistreated like that, I'd be pissed too. $400 for what?
