Well. At least I wasn't the only one getting murked by that guy in the cell. Don't get me wrong I finished the game already and I'm half way through with ng+ but in the beginning? That guy was thougher than most bosses for no reason. But it's too sweet to come back in the end, after finishing the game just to tear him to shreds. A little bit of sweet, sweet revenge. Welp, I guess it's always true what they say, small, squishy elites can be more painful than large, meaty bosses. With extra beef for the hitting!

Kaif, if you wish to not fight a boss or tough enemy without losing your runes, you can just quit game and return to the main menu. It's a nice way of just coming back to the last grace you touched and not lose your hard earned runes.

Watching Kaif ignore all the loot on enemies he kills is physically painful.

From all the vods I've seen of your gameplay of Elden Ring, your weakness it reaction time. When you seen a boss start an attack you do one of two things, dodge spam or dodge spam to get extremely far away. You should be using your dodges to iFrame the bosses attacks so you stay in range to do follow-up attacks. 3:09:40 "I don't see how you can avoid it. 3:09:26 maybe don't roll as he is in the air, roll as he is coming down. You keep dodge spamming or dodging as soon as the boss only starts attacking instead of when the attack is actually COMING at you.
Kaif, unlock your camera. Camera angles fucks you over in this game quite a lot. You can't see parts of the enemy attack animations while playing with lock on.
You get screwed because of that. That sudo AOE axe jump and chop prolly cliped your chracter model ankles every time Godrick did it. Aside form that bleed scales with Arcane and wepon upgrades so you might want to grab a few of both. Greed is not a bad thing against this boss, especially when it 1 shots or 2 shots you all the time. Bleed buildup goes down quite fast tho so you need to keep hitting the bugger until you drain him dry.
Kaif when using a weapon that focuses on status effects like bleed or poison most players will fight more risky trying to get as many hits in as possible to trigger the effect.
But for someone without a shield and that little health that usually leads to death and is likely the reason you keep dieing.
Do yourself a favor, use a weapon where theres either no effect or it doesnt rely to heavily on it.
Edit. Dont coat your weapon with magic if you dont have alot of points in intelligence

Kaif! I actually recently learned that there is an NPC in stormveil castle that steals your runes when you die. It's the Gatekeepr guy that acts as a merchant. If you kill him you get back ALL the runes he's stolen from you
