  1. We can talk about cringy parts of the show but making it seem like explicit scenes are inherently bad is weird. We all love The Boys and they do the same thing no worse. Also we don’t critique the absurd violence in the boys either. But in this show it’s different?

  2. I don’t think the scenes are supposed to be sexy. They’re supposed to be cringy cause he’s been made a sleezeball on purpose. They original shot with Abel using his natural look but they wanted to make him sleezier (hence the rattail)

  3. um…so if the weekend wasn't saying THOSE WORDS at the end…who would the audience want to say those words? cuz the weekend doesn't seem the right fit. or would it be better if the words weren't said at all?

  4. i mean…megan thee stallion's body has moaning in the beginning—but it was cool. jocelyn's moans just sound too autotune and very annoying it's like every second. meghan's very short–and then she raps. jcoelyn's is constant.

  5. The thing that is SO frustrating is that during the first half of ep 2 you can really see the vision of what the show was intended to be about… it was super engaging, and thought provoking, there are already plenty of unique and interesting characters to expand on. TEDROS IS JUST NOT NECESSARY and is literally just the creepy manifestation of who Sam Levinson and The Weeknd secretly wish they were.

  6. Good news! Apparently there are actually only five episodes of this show instead of six! The preview for episode five said it was the season finale.

  8. I cringed and had such secondhand embarrassment from that (let's be honest) softcore 🌽 scene in episode 2 yikes!
I felt like I needed to take a shower afterwards
It all feels so gratituous like what's the point?
The scene didn't contribute anything to the plot so why depict it?
    Sam needs to be jailed

  9. You know what's funny in regards to the whole "stretch that tight little p****" line? It kinda reminds me of an interview The Weeknd did years ago in regards to how he tackles music. I'm just paraphrasing here because I can't find the actual interview but he goes on says "when you say words like 'stretch that tight….' in a normal voice it sounds vulgar and disgusting but if sing it in a melodic voice it becomes more accepting to the masses." Thats kinda how I feel about this portrayal. It's good on music but on everything else it's just…. no.

  10. I feel like people are going to start seeing the weekend different from this role because can’t you read the script when you want to play a role in a movie can’t he see that it’s creepy and weird

  11. the weekend really took a genuine story about a massively tortured, abused young woman and said "I want it pornographic. and I want to be the male lead." like… this should be illegal. can we sue?

  12. When Jennie announced I was intrigued. It sounded really interesting and well I just wanted to see Jennie and support her. Eventually I realized this wouldn't be a show for me but everything isn't meant to be for everyone so fine. But thank you for sticking through this and being able to see the potential. You cracking on the weekend is everything! Your hilarious 😂😆! Also very good singer! Not just able to carry a note 🎵🎶. You have a great voice. I hope to hear more! Love you Monica! ❤
