Podcast is Called : ASN Humans Are Space Orcs , HFY and other stories
————–
This Story is Classified as HFY or Humanity Feck, Yea , but what does the Mean?
————-
HFY is a story/series that takes a “human element” in either humanity or an “other” (race/species or object) that exists in a “setting” (future or other world/universe) with varying levels of culture, technology, society and history that help show in some shape or form the potential good or bad for humanity’s race/culture. In These stories Humans are often referred to as Human, Humanity, Deathworlder, Hellwolder in reference to the human planet of origin , Earth. This planet is seen by most of the universe as a place where only death and chaos can survive.
————-
Taken from the FAQ of the r/HFY subreddit.
Humans Are Space Orcs (HASO) or Humans Are (Fantasy Race) Are used as a guide when writing.
In these Stories we normally View humans like the other races view orcs in a Fantasy Novel. We (Humans) share the same characteristics and personalities as orcs. Humans are normally treated as the outsiders and barbarians. Humans tend to be underestimated as well in these stories. Unlike Humanity Feck Yea , these don’t always put a positive spin on humanshumanity sometimes looking at the darker side of human and humanity from the perspective of aliens.

Emperor Charlamagne 😂😂😂😂. I'm surprised Nepoleon never made a move
Aliens got hit by the GMod physics gun.
lol two great stories of clueless aliens
i'd like to know where the 'federation' came from and how they survived to this point
can you imagine the human reaction, especially the military, to finding out these aliens collected the greatest military minds [as far as we know] and resurrected them? historians might love it but the military will want intensive training and upgrades
thanks for the narration
Greetings, Mentlegent!
For the Rhyhtm that is Algo
Story 1: MINE your own business, or we'll make you mine ours. Haha.
Story 2: AI copies of hte minds of our greatest generals? Idiots. The aliens in the first story were less foolish than that.
First story LMAO a mining ship able to mop the Aliens floor, Cannot even sell the ships too weak, Second story oh great lucky they didn't use Hilter as Neploan was bad enough but not a good idea taking great minds as they might actualy be evil or other things.
Oh. Good. At least they weren't dumb enough to copy-paste guys like Vlad III or Pol Pot
For a "federation" of space going alien races, they don't appear to be very smart. You might want to know who you're attacking and what their strengths and weaknesses are before doing so. Quantity does not always prove superior to quality.
Lifting human rulers minds? Not really a good idea. There are reasons why those people came to power and why so many of them were deposed or assassinated. Lifting the minds of good military leaders used to working for and reporting to civilian leaders might have been a "slightly" better idea.
Just one thing in the second story the Khan would win
Story 1. You claim to be a fleet of war ships, but your ships are flimsier than wet paper. Not even on par with our weaker mining ship… You are so pathetic.
Thanks for the laughs! I'm still chuckling over story 1. Best to gather intel before attacking an unknown enemy. I've saved it to my Humor folder. Now, on to story 2.
First story – Great, humans are powerful and SLAVERS who deal in slavery. The aliens would have been better off if they killed themselves. Hope this story is not a glimpse of humanities future. Story 2 – LOL, copy great warriors who also like all of their kind show great treachery. Good until the copies decided to take over those they serve. YEP, defeat the enemy and then defeat those who copied them and made use of them.
4 D 🐿️ ❗ ❗
For the Algorithm, for the Author(s), for the Holographic Voice!
The first story reminds of like in stellaris one fallen empire ship vs a whole early game fleet XD
Who else is disappointed that the world can’t get along and just go to space and fix the shit wrong on the planet. 🌎🌍🌏
a mining vessel XD ahahahh!!! perfect.
I am sorry I started listening to these short SIFI story a few days ago. I enjoyed them, with the different voices and renditions being done. Now though it has changed with seeing you and your facial changes reading during the presentation has undermined my own mental vison of the story being told. So, I will be listening to other storyteller’s tails going forward. I think you have undermined your ability to tell the story by injecting your physical presence to it, Tom
Thank you for the reading
