An important point with Mizzix is that she doesn’t only copy instant and sorceries, but any cards not cast from your hand. That also works with effects that steal cards from opponents!

Bountiful Hydra being a 1/1 instead of a 0/0 is actually significant for being able to hit it with Collected Company or other effects that put it into the battlefield, as it won't die immediately like 0/0 hydras that enter with X counters

If Kenessos comes to MTGO Phil will be so happy to play him in a sea creature tribal deck.
With Alandra, instead of a generic spellslinger deck you could build a drake tribal deck with a lot of wheel effects. Apart from Peregrine Drake, Loyal Drake and Pteramander they are all kind of bad but that never deterred Richard from building a flyer deck like birds.
Ramunap Ruins with Auntie doesn't work because its paying life. With wheel of misfortune and Auntie on the battlefield 19 life probably won't do it ou have to pay a lot of life because everyone is scared that they'll be one-shotted.
Ramunap ruins you lose life so I don’t think it counts as damage to yourself.
Going to ignore this set
I will buy these as sealed/limited is the best way to play magic. I can run these packs against original Jumpstart packs and see which wins more
One of the best cards for Agrus Kos is Sword of Hearth and Home. It lets you flicker your entire board and for every creature you flicker you get a basic land. Mass ramp in boros

Good to note with bountiful cannonade (and new garna/kardur) is that you can sacrifice your creatures at the end of combat, after they deal combat damage, and still get the triggers
Auntie blyte looks fantastic to run with descent into Avernus
Ignoring the whole set. This is a very powered down set compared to other jumpstart sets and I’m not amused, especially with the abundance of red cards that require such a build around that you literally have to have 3 or more pieces in play to make them work to their full effect. Basically, wizards likes limited, and this is a limited type set imo, at least that’s what it feels like.
Auntie Blyte's abiliy does not count as commander damage as it's not combat damage, you would need to deal 40 damage, or close to it, to kill someone
Kenessos might get really strong in the future, it’s like thrasios but only draws sea creatures, but it puts it on the battlefield
For Auntie Blyte I'm thinking of running her in Rocco… with Darien and Tamanoa.^^
The funny thing is. I don't know how most legacy decks actually beat a colossal dreadmaw. Thats like the whole point behind nic fit xD

I’m really glad that the spoilers were only two days, I think wizards realized that there were waayyyy to many products to end the year so nobody really cares about jumpstart that much
Set seems really bad compared to the first one.
Lands that make you pay life don't technically deal you damage, so Blyte doesn't trigger
For Auntie Blyte, you have to be careful. You only get the counters on damage, so Ramunap Ruins wouldn't work because you're paying life, not being damaged.

Agrus Kos finally got a card as a spirit! I was waiting for the next time we come back to ravnica and get that one and here it comes in a Jumpstart product. Not gonna lie I'm quite happy
I'm curious, what about WOTC over the last 5 years makes you think anyone there knows there is meant to be an angel on the other shoulder? Clearly they've been listening only to the devil for ages now.
Everyone remember to check your card and see if it says "deals x damage to you" or "Pay x life". Only the former works with Auntie.
Agrus Kos kinda crazy with sword of hearth and home too if I understand it correctly
New mizzix oddly works insane with mh urza’s five mana ability that allows you to shuffle then exile the top card of your library and may play it for free. This is pricey at seven mana each time but its insane with infinite mana
Feather will get a spell back from ogre battlecaster as you control both exile abilities so you can stack them so feathers resolves first, putting it in your hand. The same thing happens with dreadhorde arcanist when he recasts something from the gaveyard
