JUL 31 : Intense Barrage Ukraine's Relentless Firepower Targeting Crimea

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have targeted the Russian S-400 Triumph air defense system, successfully disabling two of its components. Previously, Russia used the S-400 to carry out a devastating attack on Kramatorsk in Donetsk. In retaliation, Ukraine destroyed the S-400 launcher responsible for the strike and the S-400 missile that caused casualties. The S-400 Triumph is a transportable surface-to-air missile system developed by Russia, capable of engaging aircraft, UAVs, and cruise missiles. It is comparable to the American Patriot system but lacks hit-to-kill technology for destroying ballistic missiles. Recent details reveal the destruction of an additional 5P85 SM-201 launcher and the A92A6A multifunction radar station, the first confirmed incident of radar destruction in the conflict.
The 92N6E radar station, with impressive capabilities, plays a critical role in the entire battery’s performance. Its destruction significantly impacts the battery’s effectiveness. In response to the Kramatorsk attack, Ukraine managed to bring down the Russian S-400 system, avenging the incident. Russia allegedly made its Hummers and rockets less effective by reducing their shine. Ukraine discovered that Russia uses S-300 and S-400 missiles to target ground installations, posing challenges for Ukrainian air defense forces. Despite the system’s lethality, Ukraine exacted revenge by destroying a complete S-400 launcher, a highly valued weapon for Russia. Ukraine acquired the S-400 from Turkey after the United States pressured Turkey not to transfer it directly to Ukraine.
