That judge is just a travesty. Never presided over a death penalty case, and she just nitpicks and fights the defense attorney at every turn, who in fact specializes in death penalty cases. The judge has no understanding how these cases are tried. No patience, no experience..

With any luck the jury will recommend death on all 17. It will be 17 times more head aches for the appeal lawyers.
