Wonderful work Kevin and the team! I’d planned to only watch a bit during my lunch, but the format was such a nice surprise! I think this style depends a lot on the trust in research that they put into previous videos. It’s a great way to reinvigorate interest on a topic that I’m already familiar with through Kevin et al.’s previous documentaries. It’s like a reward for being a long-term subscriber 🤩
I need an accompanying After Effects tutorial for this documentary 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
🤩 They should show this at Videopolis in Discoveryland Paris! What a beautiful and moving documentary!!! You did it again!!!
Epcot 41 years ago
I'll tell you what. Kevin and this channel have come a LONG way since 2017.
I just want to say thank you for the detailed sensory description. So many other videos simply warn about flashing lights with no information on the time or nature of the image, effectivly making it impossible to watch the video. Thank you for doing your best to make this amazing documentary accessible to all.
Never stop innovating, this documentary style feels fresh and the evolvolution in content is good to see. The tangled backstory of Epcot felt so epic, like a parable for the whole of 20th century America.😊
I'm glad there's people that enjoy this even though I prefer verbal documentaries. Definitely not my thing, but not everything has to be!
I'd been wondering why there had been such a long gap between videos. Now we know why…to create this unbelievable awesomeness.
Spotify 😤 where 😤😤😤
Now I know what you meant when you said this one was gonna be different. It's quite a break from the usual style but I'd say it paid off! The production value here is insane.
Incredible. Simply incredible.
I don't get it, sorry.
Not super my thing but I'm still blown away! This is stunning!
This looks like a lot of work was done to produce this video. I hope it pays off. I personally can't watch an hour of it though.
Thanks, I hate it.
It would be cool if epcot is what they said it would be instead of a simulation in theme park form
Geezus dude. Next level what wow
God, I love you.
So happy to see how much this channel has grown! Thank you Kevin!
I usually put video essays/documentaries on in the background while working but this one may prove too distracting because it’s so visually interesting, I keep looking away.
Kevin, you are truly an artist. A craftsman. Thank you.
Welcome back!
I'll be honest with ya chief, while this video is certainly unique and boasts excellent production quality I can't say I like it more than the usual style. I like your voice, and sarcasm. The purely text on screen visual sections mean I can't really enjoy it like I usually do.
I love this channel. I hate this video. It's just a lazy music video
as a fan going back 5 years now this has got to be one of the greatest shows of talent, progress and creativity. im actually speechless
While I can't say I liked the approach, I can't deny the work nor the planning, research, and narration that is this documentary. This is quite the project and final result, simply not for me
I would seriously love to see this on the the silver screen. This is….. I can't really find words for it. I've finished watching it not 40 seconds ago, and it's quite the ride! The collective efforts of everyone involved in this production, absolutely shines through. That this was made by people with immense love and passion, and a drive to give something to the viewing public, that will stick with them. I applaude this. ALL of it, and can only hope to be able to be this passionate about something ane day. This is truly a marvel, in all it's aspects. I love it!
I will say, I do miss Kevin’s voice lol
Oh wow, it's beautiful!
That was fantastic!
It's cool and it's great… but I still miss the normal style. It feels like I came into a theater to watch a normal storyline movie, but the only show that was running was "Fantasia".
Mr. Perjurer, you probably made a mistake by not giving this feature length film a festival run first, but you DO still have time to book an awards-qualifying run and submit for Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards.
It was all worth it for Figment alone.
Hey everyone, thanks for giving this a shot. I’ll be back with some classic narration style videos soon.
I was properly medicated for this video. It was an overall sensory experience that I will replicate again when I get home from work.
This is very cool and probably took a lot of work, but I can't sit through it.
I do agree that this should be shown at movie festivals. This needs to be an Event.
It is so surprising, as a fan since 2017, a mod of the Facebook group since 2020, to see your work have come SO far. Kevin, you are a phenomenal artist, and a creative mind the world deserves more of. This is absolutely gorgeous, and it’s a jaw dropping piece of art I am so lucky I am able to enjoy and watch, as much as I am able to watch the kitchsy Pretzel Dark Rides video. You and Defunctland are a treasure!
Thanks Kevin, I really appreciated this wonderful audio/visual journey from you and the whole team. Good to finally see the mini-newspaper circulator belt, feed system finally appear.
this is absolutely phenomenal work
What a tremendous documentary. The creativity in every layer of this presentation from the stunning orchestral score to practical effects is so radiant and joyful. I was smiling the whole time. What an achievement.
This channel's magnum opus
