I'm beyond happy that Anastasia merchandise has finally made its way to the park!😃 I hope this means that Anastasia will soon have her own meet and greet area in one of the parks and that the movie will return to Disney Plus sometime in the near future! 😃
The stories circulating about Iger’s return and the behavior within Disney’s C-suite don’t fill me with encouragement. It sounds like Iger knowingly undermined Chapek from the very beginning and that key decisions credited to Chapek were actually forced on him by his predecessor.
I’m surprised Russia and the actual tragic life and death of Anastasia didn’t stop them. Most of the people mad at Don Bluth have been gone for years, but the real world is harder to ignore or forget.

Still processing that Chapek is gone from ruining a major part of my childhood. Diz put a souvenir salesman in charge of a top wide range of fields entertainment company. Going to take a spell to get Disney back on track and moving forward.

24:00 every time I see the original Matterhorn, I die just a little inside. It was so much more fun with the zippy single bobsled and NO cumbersome lap bars keeping STUPID people from doing STUPID things.
Here's hoping that the Disney board now realizes the importance of a duel CEO team. Eisner and Well's were the building blocks of Disney's golden age for a reason. You can't put a solo bean counter at the helm and expect an entertainment juggernaut to thrive. There has to be a happy middle ground between cutting edge entertainment/amusement attractions and the bottom line. The share holders will get their pay out in spades when the majority of the public is happy to part ways with their hard earned dollars.
