All credit to Joni. AND Brandi Carlile is one the most giving, loving, supportive, respectful artists I have ever encountered. She is so brilliant and still uses all her skills to lift up others. Especially other women. it is a magical and beautiful thing to witness.
Everybody just wants to hear Joni's voice. Why is the mix so bad?
Many years ago up in heaven they decided they could spare one angel to come down to earth- to show us what beauty is. And that was Joni. And she's still showing us to this day

I remember being in the caves at Matala, Crete when Joni met Carey. Many a night at the Mermaid cafe drinking, singing, laughing.
