Navi is the stand out. Keep both Delka. and 2nd was the Formex.
You should get a xeric for the quirky watch in you collection, they just came out with the invertor 2 and it looks great
Ending the year with a 53 watch collection. Wanting to keep it at 50 so a few to go.
Your Mido is the standout piece for me.
Ditch the quartz abominations, it's not the 80s anymore, they're not cool at all. Bin that fake Sinn and buy yourself a Sinn.
Those Deklas are awesome!
Shitters galore
Very nice! A few years back there were quite a few in the SOTC that were not to my taste but this year i'm liking all of them (although i may have kept the other presage…a hard choice!)
Finding a Credor under 1000 was unexpected but interesting!
I feel Casio should've been given a separate listing, but I get that doing so would've taken a spot from other highlights
Have you estimated the current value of your watch collection? You can sell some pieces you aren't wearing and buy that Cherry Blossom if you like it. I don't see the point of having 64 watches, some of which you don't even wear, by your own admission. Does it really matter if you are buying one watch for $9000 Australian if you have close to that in the value of watches you aren't wearing?
You should send the old Omega to Joe at the Nekkid Watchmaker. That would be an excellent video to watch.
Keep BOTH Deklas!
Youโre going to regret selling that mini turtle when you come to realize how rare they are in the wild.
Is there a reason you didn't end up keeping a CW?
WOW
Awesome video as usual ๐
No HELM? Boo…
Jody, I would recommend you consider sending your broken Seamaster to Marshall over at Wristwatch Revival. You may be able to work out a deal, and we would love to see him fix up that watch for you!
You got me with the very first watch sold.
I cannot BELIEVE you let that amazing red King Seiko go! ๐ฒ
Rules are there to be broken…the two Dekla watches are beautiful and are different in style so you could easily keep them unless of course you want to dump the Bauhaus which I'd happily help you out by taking it…. ๐
Love the Grand Seiko, Oris, and Tudor!
The Tudor Ranger on bracelet is a great watch. Wears much better than my newest edition, the Rolex Explorer 40mm; and I'm not terrified about scratching it! The dial is a bit like a cross between the old explorer and a reasonably sized Panerai ๐
I love the Citizen Chronomaster. I have the hand died Indigo Washi dial and canโt stop wearing it. I set all of my other watches to it. lol. I also love the Casio 2100, but I prefer the solar tough/bluetooth ones to the batteries. For anyone interested in the MIDO Multifort, just an FYI, I got the blue dial with the bracelet then went on Aliexpress and got a couple of rubber straps that are made specifically for these watches for a steal. Great collection, thanks for sharing.
I dug, and I think the Mercur, just like the new Boddery field, have tubes of lume โ not of tritium. All evidence points to that. Gimmicky.
Great to meet you in New York, Jody!
Hi Jody, love watching your channel, I'm also looking to down size my collection (50) budget watches Pagani, cadisen ect. Which is the best way to do this, I'm in Dublin, Ireland ๐๐
Great summary as always Jody. Lately I have been adding more vintage pieces to my collection. The Camy and Geneve are both special looking pieces. Really love them both! โฃ
Cracking video. You're like a watch fiend's friend of whom the other half would definitely disapprove.
Would love an Erebus triple date
How difficult was it to switch the hardlex to sapphire on your SRPE? I have one, wear it nearly every day, and even though I havenโt had a problem with it a domed sapphire crystal would really look fantastic on it.
That little Doxa is sooo sweet.
I was thinking about this year's state of the collection these days, thanks for sharing!
Wow, you chopped two of my favourites: love the red King Seiko and the Hojicha Pressage!
A fantastic array of watches that touches all bases.
