Joining the TRAITOR LEGIONS – CHAOS 40k Lore

“The greatest monster of all is Man. The Daemon does not choose to dwell outside the blessed Materium, nor does the xenos cast aside the holy form of Man to walk another path. Both are terrible and foul, it is true. But the heretic and the traitor were given every gift in the universe, and chose to cast them aside. There is no greater crime than this.” — Inquisitor Malakai Wernhardt

  1. This is a masterpiece, ik this is 3 months too late but it captures what the slaves of the imperium had to go through and die with it, but imagine the imperium of man, free of slaves and all joined chaos

  2. Maybe a weird question but; if say a regiment of Guardsmen, and/or maybe a small Imperial fleet had grown disenchanted with their present conditions and were interested in offering their loyalty to the traitor legions, how would they go about making contact?

I am figuring it would be also immensely wise in choosing which legion/warband to sell out to.

The unyielding IVth are pretty mutation free, but they are also kinda hard-a$$es who probably are not enjoyable to work with… they seem humorless.

Emperor's Children would have all the really good 'party favors' stuff that would make our present day Terran narcotics seem like about as potent as children's aspirin, and they LOVE to party! Sounds like my kinda people, but not into all the mutations,
I am already more handsome then anyone has a right to be, thank you very much!

Nurgle's folk… they're good people, friendly people, and the Grandfather honestly does care about us all. But kinda like with the E.C. I don't want to get all gross.

Ain't talking to the World Eaters… like there really is NO talking to them, they will just kill you if you are dumb enough to give them your location.

These are the hard decisions to make, when considering treachery.
