8 years ago we set out to visit all 50 states before our oldest son graduated! This is the final chapter of our quest!! Tonight at 6:30, Join us as we travel to Alaska to explore America’s Last Frontier!!! We conquer the Alaska, Denali, and Dalton Highways!! We plunged into the Arctic Ocean and gazed upon America’s tallest mountain. We caught a glimpse of the Northern Lights and we felt like Marty Stouffer from Wild America as we found ourselves surrounded by a hundred bears!!! Wow!!! What an amazing expedition!!! We spent 14 days exploring Alaska!! Our journey consisted of 12 flights covering nearly 10,000 air miles, 3,000 plus highway miles, 2 boat rides and endless miles of memories!!!

We visit Fairbanks, North Pole, Anchorage, Denali, Mt. McKinley, Katmai National Park, Brooks Falls, King Salmon, Hope, Seward, Whittier, Homer, Barrow, Utqiagvik, Wiley Post, Will Rogers, Americas Northern Most Point, America’s Most Westerly Highway Point, and much more on this trip. We see King Salmon, Halibut, Grizzly, Coastal Bears, Black Bears, Elk, Caribou, Reindeer, Porcupine, Orca, Dall Porpoise, Humpback and Beluga Whales.

We visited North Pole Alaska and the Santa Clause House!!! I stole a kiss from Mrs. Clause and bought her a full Harry Potter themed Christmas Village from the coolest Christmas store I’ve ever been to!! I had lots of help from the Elves!! We cancelled 11 national park stamps off the list along the way!! Our mission to visit all 50 states before our oldest son graduated was a success!!!
