Tom Poston… who played handyman George Utley on Newhart and was in real life married to Suzanne Plashette who played Bob's wife Emily on The Bob Newhart Show.
This movie has little or nothing to do with the classic 1932 release, to the point of being a completely different story except for the familiar names such as 'Morgan'. They turned a classic Horror into a Comedy. In the plus column, I really enjoy your show's format; I like the material, I like the characters, and the whole thing feels like good old MST3K, right down to the reading of the fan mail to the show.

Oh My!!! I saw a funny old movie long, long ago when I was younger………and could never remember the name of it! I think this is the movie!!! Imagine that?!! After all these years of racking my brain trying to remember that movie I saw so long ago…….and finding it on Creature Features!!! WOO HOO!!!
The outside façade of the house is the same from the 1974 English cult film " Vampyres " starring the beauties Anulka & Marianne Morris , a must see underrated movie in the Vampiric genre … 🦇
@ Creature Features: Well to those who do not know this The 1986 Film Haunted Honeymoon Starring (Gene Wilder And Gilda Radner) was a loose remake of the 1932 version of The Old Dark House, (Haunted Honeymoon) wasnt a remake of the 1940's film of the same name but The Old Dark House was remade in 1963 as we can all see, watch the 1932 version of The old Dark House back to back with the 1986 version of Haunnted Honeymoon and you'll see what I'm talking about.
This was a super cute movie! I love watching old movies and seeing older actors that look like newer actors.. I think Owen Wilson looks like and has similar mannerisms as Tom Poston in this film.
This film is like a comedy version of Die Monster Die . There definitely are some similarities, hard to explain why
