  1. Mary, love the list and how you bring it down.

I did have a question/gripe(perhaps with myself.) I always thought Walt Grace began: “Walt Grace, desperately HATING his whole place”. Not “aiding”. What’s up?

  2. I don't mean to be critical or cause embarrassment but I think the lyric in " Walt Grace "is displacement not his placement( it's a term used in shipbuilding)but I could be wrong.
I love "Something like Olivia " from that record, great groove.

  3. Fun watch nerd info – the Rolex was not a collaboration with John, but the watch in question was nicknamed 'The John Mayer' because he featured it in an episode of 'Talking Watches'. Basically he highlighted how nobody was paying attention to this watch, and because he's John Mayer, everybody started paying attention to it 😉 hence the crazy price tag!

  5. I can’t say just five because so many of them are great

Back to you – a song where I started listening to john mayer, so it’s always going to be the #1

Who says – just as john sums it up it doesn’t require much of warm up and feels like your doodling on the guitar, so casual yet great

Clarity – of course the early stages of john’s career, the way it was articulated is incredible

The heart of life – the notes played is nothing like anything else that exists and if there is such a thing as a perfect ending, that song would be playing in the background

And of course gravity, I don’t think an explanation is required

And of course i love edge of desire, vultures, something’s missing, and many more but currently loving war of my life and assassin
