  1. As always great reaction, can’t wait for your reaction to John performing Gethsemane in Sydney on the final night 1992,I’m the same age as John but as you I’m still learning, as great as I’ve always known John to be, until now there’s a lot I’ve missed. Loving your reactions please continue 😊

  2. Every concert I've been to of John's has been just like this – even without the orchestra. He and the band work so hard and his vocals never falter…. It speaks volumes of how insanely talented he is…when after almost 3hrs of singing he comes back with two encores…. Help was one of them at most of the concerts I saw (and I've seen around 20…)

  3. Thank you we do love John a lot of us didn’t know how wonderful he was . Just makes me love the times we went to see him he never let us down at any of his concerts . Once we had no power (we had a blackout) and John still continued his concert in Wagga Wagga . We were blown away by how powerful his voice and amazing his singing really was ❀

  4. I remember a few years ago got tickets to a Stevie Nicks concert only because she had John Farnham as her support act….I think she messed up because she followed John and 50% or more of the crowd left. I don't think she was bad per se just in her arrogance she thought she could shine as bright as John. If he wasn't there she would not have needed such big venuesπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

  5. This is why you watch John live.
There is a symbiosis of crowd and performers.
He get his energy from the music and the crowd.
The orchestra leader is having a blast,
    Love the string section.
Would be surprised if this concert series with the M S Orchestra is not in the best concerts ever for the musicians taking part.
    Pure adrenaline in action.
    The real deal.
Of all the performers I have been privileged to watch in 6 decades of concerts John is GOAT.
The Beatles were fun I was young!
    Bee gees my favourite band.
Neil Diamond was great. Elton John spectacular.
    Queen amazing, Tina Turner energetic,
    but John
    Well John is.
    UNBELIEVABLE
You walk out of the concert 10 feet tall and every cell of your body is energised.
Takes ages to come down after the experience.

  6. John is a consummate professional. He, his band and backup singers give 100% on each and every note of each and every song. I regret that I have never had the opportunity to experience him live.

  7. Glad to see you visiting us here in The Land Down Under lol. Yes check out all the performances from that concert you won't be sorry. If you like the music a little bit rock n roll check out his version of AC/DC 'It's a Long Way to the top if ya wanna Rock n Roll' Even the singers come down to the main stage and rock it lol Love your comments and analysis as always 🀩

  8. Love your reactions to Farnsy mate, and the details you pick up on. This concert was brilliant from start to finish… in saying that, all of his concerts are.

  9. I am deeply saddened that he may never sing again due to extensive surgery for mouth cancer. The surgery took eleven and a half hours and he had an amazing team of up to 26 surgeons.
Bless you, John and the world sends you prayers for a good recovery.
You should only ever listen to John LIVE. His "Official Studio Videos" are tame by comparison. John has a symbiotic relationship with his audience, he FEEDS off them, and his performances are out of this world. John is not just a singer he is an entertainer! He is a down-to-earth guy and a very funny man. I have been to many of his shows starting back in 1969, and he has never disappointed. I saw him about 12 months ago, we are both old now, and he obviously can't jump around as he used to at age 73, but every note of every song was still perfect.
Did you catch the smile on the Conductor's face at @3:30 in the video? He is having an absolute ball.

  12. Quite a few times I've heard you say how much you love hearing artists who can sing without all the bells and whistles, and sound better or as good live as on a recording…..Well I've got a treat for you to react to. When you reacted to Farnsey and Barnsey "when something is wrong with my baby", this is the solo guitarist Johnny Diesel in his younger years, before he teamed up with Barnsey, married Barnsey's sister and the rest is history. Well, Diesel can also sing, and is in the same category as both John and Jimmy. Diesel grew up in Perth WA. This video is as raw as it gets – an Aussie with an Acoustic guitar just sitting on the couch, and you could hear it on the radio tomorrow it's that good. Give your ears a treat, and enjoy. Hugs and peace from Western Australia πŸ€—πŸ™

  13. He gives the girl a kiss and doesn’t miss a beat. Jumping around the stage doing his mic tricks, bending over and reaching out to his fans while singing, effortlessly. Oh yeah, and the show goes for 2 to 3 hours. What a legend.❀️

  14. John's band and back up singers are professionals and love John. He also recognises them to the audience at every concert because he knows how great they are, and how loyal they are. I would love you to play " Chain Reaction ". They guy one the Harmonica fits so well to the song. Hope you watch and enjoy it. I love to see your Reaction to it. I love watch you watching John.

  15. I love that you actually have a good vocabulary.
And you come across nice and calm, and you actually really love your music , baring in mind that this man could probably sing. the telephone book and still keep us entertained.
The John certainly has a fine boys as we know , but it's not just that he still has a way of entertaining us with all those musical instruments around him and yet still keep it intimate with the care and passion in his performances.

  16. I don’t think anything could keep John still on stage. You have to see him live to know he gives every song all he has. He takes 10 minutes halfway through to put on dry clothes. Thank you.
