Farnsey sings every song like its his privilege/honour to do so
Great reaction
FYI in 1970 there was a radio airplay ban on Australian radio for US records due to a dispute over airplay royalties so US records were covered by local artists and he covered the Three Dog Night original and had a big hit in Australia. He also had a big hit with his cover of Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head by BJ Thomas.
You are correct been to a dozen of Johns concerts and every one just got better.
FACTS! π―
Yes weβve definitely been lucky to have John for decades β€
Excellent cover.
A granny in Australia says…am still in the intro, and I cannot WAIT to hear how you take this'n. Then I am going to bed, as I've spent the arvo with you and darlin' Farnham, and I am tired from your emotional ride.
Granny again…couldn't resist. 3:49 in and I wish I knew term for how he so effortlessly does in his voicebox what instruments do, 3 or four notes to a word. I've been listening to music since decades before rock'n'roll, and I've not heard a voice like it.
Preach sir!!!!
He is one of the best singers ever. We did NOT get to hear him in USA. Thanks to reactors
like you we get to hear him perform. Your are a great favorite reactor. Thank You.

John Farnham such a powerhouse such an entertainer. Know what you are saying he tells a story the way he sings he connects with fans through his songs you feel every lyric he touches you're soul and takes youre heart yes so much passion and emotion in everything he sings and does. When iam not having a good day John takes me to my happy place and all is good for a while be it music or interviews he is my therapist along with another phenomenal singer I love x adore like John is Adam Lambert they are my medication help me focus on good things and keep me going day to day. Both connect emotionally with the fans and phenomenal singers. π¬π§ JF fan
I hope someone who can afford to donate asks you to do this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6uxFKmCXB8
Anthony Warlow is a classically trained baritone. Star of the Australian production of Phantom of the Opera, and has worked in London and Broadway. You know who John is.
Yeah we run out of superlatives to describe John . Well said !
I am one of the lucky few that have gotten to see him live, and he is absolutely amazing! β€
Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oi, Oi, Oi…… π¦πΊ
Great reaction mate why don't you listen to john sing IN DAYS TO COME i think you will like it good health to you always
John has recovered from the chest infection and is doing well .
John's health is now on the way up. The theatre release of John Farnham: Finding The Voice, a documentary film lasting 1hr 36m; this follows John's journey from the quiet suburbs of Melbourne to his 60's pop fame, through the incredible highs and lows to the ultimate record breaking success as 'Australia's Voice'.
I bought John's album when I was a very young. " One " was my favorite and "Jamie " was my other fave. Ironically, my daughter named our first grandchild Jamie. She doesn't even know the song. Jamie is 30years old now.
π¦πΊβπΌπ₯° so sad hes not in the best of health now xx he"llnever sing again xx we love you Farnsy xxx
Hiya DS. As you seem to have discovered Aussie singers, with some relish too I note, you HAVE to listen to the Teskey Brothers sing "Hold Me". They'll knock your socks off!
