Eastman either doesn't understand what a democracy is or he doesn't believe in it. I think the latter is true because if you ask most attorneys if they go to court for justice they will answer no, "you go to court to win". It's that cynicism that has infected our country to a dangerous degree.

Pay attention: Eastman and Trmp were NOT interested in "investigating" anything or "finding out who really won the election". They did NOT want "the person who actually won the election to be certified". No, they simply wanted to stop the counting of the electoral college votes and declare Trmp the winner. Period.
Eastman and Trmp and the whole gang pretend they want integrity in the election and ballot counting, when the only thing they are after is Trmp in the White House, the will of the voters be damned.

Thanks for the segment on Social Security, 60 Minutes. This is the kind of stuff you do best. Overpayments on Social Security are the government's responsibility unless the recipient lied or failed to report earnings in a timely manner. Same for overpayments during Covid
