Joe Rogan once warned Tony Hinchcliffe about potential fallout from Puerto Rico ‘garbage’ joke

Joe Rogan admitted that he’s not a fan of Tony Hinchcliffe’s controversial Puerto Rico joke — and said he would have warned his fellow comic to avoid using it at former President Donald Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally.

The podcaster, on Wednesday’s episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” said he even joked with Hinchcliffe in the past that the bit that’s landed him in water is “the one that’s gonna get you stabbed.”

Hinchcliffe, 40, known for hosting the “Kill Tony” podcast, joked during Trump’s Sunday campaign rally that Puerto Rico is “a floating island of garbage.”

  1. Tony’s wild jokes sandwiched between actually bigoted old white dude speeches doesn’t look great 🤣 in a room full of MAGA the “comedy” thing to do would be, make fun of Trump/maga base

  2. I understand that comedy often pushes boundaries, Tony Hinchcliffe's jokes at the recent Trump rally were in poor taste. There's a difference between attending a roast comedy show and a political rally – trying to attract voters with offensive remarks won't resonate well.

  3. HE WASN'T LYING!! The island🏝is surrounded by garbage the region's liberal government does nothing about. Tony Hinchcliff has done MORE to bring humanitarian attention to the problem than ANY of the press. So THANK YOU TONY!
