Joe Biden declares America a ‘beacon to the world’ in national address

US President Joe Biden has delivered a national address where he pledged his support for Israel and Ukraine and promised to fund the nation’s national security needs.

The President announced he would send an urgent budget request to Congress tomorrow to fund America’s national security needs and support critical partners.

“It’s a smart investment that is going to pay dividends for American security for generations, help us keep American troops out of harm’s way, help us build a world that is safer and more peaceful and more prosperous for our children and grandchildren,” he said.

The leader of the free world expressed pride in patriotic Americans building the “arsenal of democracy” to defend the United States and “serve the cause of freedom”.

“America is a beacon to the world, still.”

  2. Joe Biden the amount of damage you’ve done to the world is unbelievable. You’ve shown your true colours. You haven’t even mentioned the damage you’ve done in Pakistan. Unbelievable times we are living in.

  5. The world watched how the USA left Afghanistan. Why do they think Ukraine and Israel were attacked? They can't even police their own society, what could they possibly accomplish abroad?

Biden is the embodiment of the USA, confused, lost, failing and in decline.

  6. While we are in this situation they should suspend income taxes for awhile and give Americans more buying power. Move higher taxes to wants like cigarettes alcohol electronics etc. It's ridiculous that almost the amount of 2 car payments come out of my check a month.

  7. Putin is a serious threat to democracies worldwide. He almost killed self governance in the cradle when he got totally unfit Donald Trump elected to the presidency. It would be a disaster for everyone around the world if democracy fails in America. Biden understands the necessity of taking Putin down. The political and ideological landscape leaves a proxy war as Biden's only realistic option. The fate of the entire world rests on the shoulders of a 80 something year old politician working within a perilously thin mandate. There's a lot of ways this could go bad. I predict hiistory will be most kind to President Biden if he's able to finish the job and land this bird safely

  8. why does the US always have to get involved in every global spat? They really think the are the fucking world police, don't they. again, America trying to prove to other countries that Washington knows best. America is bossing around every other little developing nation on what to do and yet the US can't even fix their own domestic issues, thanks to idiots like Biden & Trump. Its just fucking hilarious. Beijing are probably even laughing their asses off at America reading this comment. 😂
