  1. "Maybe something will happen between Jey and Sami" do go on… I'll never understand Jim's distaste of The Miz. The guy has done everything the WWE asked, can talk, can get heat. I don't get it.

  2. This episode, the covering of the nWo bio and Brian's comments about the importance of telling the real history of wrestling, it has me missing the days when every Experience was about that instead of all the modern wrestling that dominates the Experience and Drive Thru over the last 3 years or so. I don't have an interest in AEW or WWE. Today's wrestling doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. I listen because I like to listen to Jim talk about whatever, no different from listening to a clip of Jim do an ad read. He's entertaining no matter what the topic but, I much prefer the wrestling history lessons.

  3. The Jim Cornette shows are the best form of entertainment in this day and age, however, this fuckin Steven P. New shit really irks me with that stupid song and the host kissing a C+ lawyers ass is ridiculous

  4. So, a few notes about Raw in Ottawa as I live close. Ottawa is a small market as far as WWE is concerned. We're 2 hrs from Montreal, 4 hrs from Toronto. All of those "backstage segments" that they showed, the Ottawa fans knew immediately they were filmed in Montreal and that the wrestlers themselves were nowhere around. Putting Cody and Sami at the beginning of the show took the fans out of it, which is why it got quieter as the show went on. The Becky/Lita segment bombed because the fans knew ahead of time that Trish Stratus was at the arena so when she didn't come out, and instead Lita did, the fans crapped on it. Ottawa is a fickle crowd when it comes to WWE because we've been burned often. However, we do have a very good indie company where guys like Steen/Owens and Generico/Zayn started out with our top guys being Evil Uno and Stu Grayson.

  5. Can imagine Hulk asking Vince over the phone, "Feeling the heat yet, Brother?"
And Vince guffawing, "Ha-Ha, we're weeks away from closing the doors, Pal!" , while eating an expensive steak dinner with a couple para-legals.

  6. Some guy named Gregory is responsible for our current February hating calendar.

There are movies where The Aliens win. "Skyline" comes to mind. My problem is less when the bad guys win perse, and more so when the bad guys never had any chance of losing, such was the case of "Skyline". No tension whatsoever.
