  1. The biggest the nWo should have gotten was Hogan, Hall, Nash, Syxx, Bilionair Ted and Vincent. Eric never should have joined as the leader, he should have been the Pro-nWo commentator at most.

  2. The first match should have been none title, with the nWo jumping Goldberg and putting out, then he comes back to win the big number 1 contenders match and facing Hogan at Starcade in a title match. Then go back to wrecking people.

  3. Nash was over but he wasn't as over as goldberg, it's where his jealously came from. Goldberg comes in with no experience and becomes one of the most over wrestlers of all time, in no time. But nash sabotaging goldberg sabotaged WCW.

  4. The WWE sent in individuals that destroyed these companies from the inside outside. WCW , TNA, and ECW. They killed the competition and then signed the roster to wrestle in the WWF/WWE just to drag and job them out.

  5. Hart being described as “The Picasso of wrestling” is so perfect. He took his matches and his wrestling legacy more serious than money or fame. And like most great artists, maybe takes their own work a bit too seriously.

But that’s how you get to be great without ever hurting anyone.

  6. Don't know why the hate on eric and nash. Neither of them were responsible for the demise of wcw.

Nash ending goldbergs run that fashion made sense. The finger poke of doom brought in heat to the heel. Though looking back maybe not great, that was not the donwfall of wcw.

It was aol/time warner merger and management at top who never wanted wcw. They and turner made it harder for bischoff, with restrictions of what they can do on show. Warner wanting a second show thunder etc.

  7. By all accounts jim had little to no interactions with Bischoff in the 90s and the few jim said he had, have been proven to be lies.
I find it odd that jim speaks about the inner workings of behind the scenes of wcw in the 90s, like he was there, when he wasn't there. And clearly has no knowledge of this subject.

  8. I have brought up several times that I loved that Nitro came on, twice in a row. I would watch the first hour of Nitro from 8-9. Then I would watch the two hours of Raw from 9-11. And stay up so I could watch the second hour of Nitro from 11-12

Getting up for school on Tuesday could be a little rough, especially if Nitro had an exciting ending and I couldn't go right to sleep

  9. Who killed WCW? Ted Turner . . . By not firing everyone on his staff that hated wrestling.

And while Goldberg's kick is what caused Brett Hart's concussion, it's Vince Russo who had Brett continue wrestling with the concussion. He should have written Brett's concussion into the story, give Brett the time he needed to heal, and then use it as the roots of a feud between Hart and Goldberg. That's how I would have booked it at least.

  10. 13:10 I actually sat in on a Goldberg Q&A a few years back and someone asked him about that match with Hogan. Goldberg said he found out about the match from watching Thunder the Thursday before having that match with Hogan. And when he showed up that Monday he had no idea what in the Hell was going on, and he asked hulk what the plan for the match was and responded “we will figure it out on the mat brother”

  11. I hate to be that guy, but its BS that Bret Hart still holds this grudge against Goldberg and blames one concussion from him as the ending of his career. He was a professional wrestler for decades, I guarantee that was not the first, nor the the worst, concussion he received.

When you are in the business of brain damage, its stupid to blame one moment from one man as the cause of all of it. Bret just couldnt physically go or have any desire to go anymore and Goldberg just happened to make one mistake at Bret's breaking point.

  12. Bret was helping Vince mold Stone Cold into the guy would be the biggest character during that era. Meanwhile in WCW they wouldn’t let him work with any of the Radicals or good wrestlers lol. Eddie, Benoit, Mysterio, Jericho, Malenko … wcw didn’t have a talent issue they just didn’t care to build it
