  1. Truth is this….. Kevin Sullivan may have very well booked his own divorce but he never harmed anyone Benoit was a POS freak steroid freak with little man syndrome that went off the deep end just like his mentor Dynamite kid

  2. I grew up in Daytona and met him numerous times. I did construction work on Oceans condos where he lived. Always such a nice guy. Loved to sit and talk about wrestling any time we came over to work on his unit.

  3. Great Work!!! As usual Jim's respect and knowledge of Kevin's career is much appreciated. I recently rewatched the "Back To The Territories" interview with Kevin Sullivan and enjoyed it like I never had seen it before.

  4. I remember Kevin from the old Southeastern days. Ron Fuller was retiring from the ring and brought Kevin in to create a faction to replace the Stud's Stable. I was always a fan of the heals and I'd get into trouble with the church that brought us to the matches every Tuesday night in Mobile Alabama because I'd cheer for all the heals. Man I miss those days lol. It was a great time to be young

  5. Not even Kevin Sullivan attacked Chris Benoit following his heinous actions. Let it be. Benoit aside…we're ALL flawed and there were a whole lot of guys "loaded to the tits on steroids". Still are. Nature of the beast.
Wonderful tribute to The Taskmaster nonetheless. He's already sorely missed.

  6. Over 40 years in the business, and all I can think about is someone was begging for 20 grand about a month before his death. A mixture of "I feel bad for him" mixed with "dude did you not save ANYTHING?" mixed with, I don't know, maybe his family are gold diggin' while they can. I wonder what the final take was on that go fund me garbage…
I never met Kevin, but he always seemed like a good guy, God bless brother.

  7. Was always nice to listen to an episode of Taskmaster Talks & his many great shoot interviews, airports , hospitals , travelling , the mans voice has been in my ear for years. Sadly missed , this hit jarringly hard. To quote Schiavone , heaven just got a devil. R.I.P.

  8. I don't think that anyone that MATTERS thought Kevin had anything to do with the murders. Unfortunately, some idiot started that "rumor" and blah. But like I said, no one that knew about the situation thought it, just the mouth breathers that believe anything they see.

  9. The whole thing with the Dungeon of Doom and the battles with Hulkamania and the Circus was trash. But he did so many good things before that. And he was ultimately THE booker during the Monday Night Wars in WCW which was the best time for me in wrestling. My favorite stuff of his was as leader of the Varsity Club. The whole angle was fantastic.

  10. I am glad that promo with Kevin Sullivan, Buzz Sawyer, and Cactus Jack was mentioned. I watched that with a couple friends, and all of us were loving it! We thought that was one of the greatest things ever!

  11. This was a really nice tribute. It must be hard, and clearly Kevin meant a lot to both Jim and Brian. Much of my growing up with wrestling passed by much of Kevin in his prime. But learning how much influence he had on so many of the people I did watch and enjoy gave me so much appreciation for what Kevin meant to wrestling.
