Lex Fridman meets Lex Luthor
I really like your podcast style but get out of polarized people like Bezos you can't ask them the real questions or put them in front of reality, I'm not giving a heck if he can entertain discussion. He's bsing around while you don't present what malevolence lies into his actions as acting like a monopoly (Amazon vs Standard Oil) go for truth I'm not intrested in his social skills. I know for a fact he has good social skills he failed against SpaceX and still has a nasa contract. He's bronze is directly related with his failures about the space race that's in against Musk. I want to see Bezos being honest and speak truth about how he treats his employees and geopolitics and culture. Not some bullshit of socialites.
Didnβt want it to end , great podcast great human, thanks
The fact that Bard Pitt will cameo for 1 second is why heβs the goat
TRT definitely had an affect on his voice
12:49 "And there is one thing that is moving backwards, and it's the natural solar system. So it is a fact that 500 years ago, pre-spacetravel age, the solar system was pristine. It was incredible. And we have traded some of that pristine beauty for all of these other gifts that we have as an advanced multiplanetary society. And we can have both. But to do that, we have to go to Alpha Centauri. And all of this, really, the most fundamental measure is energy usage per capita. And when you look at, you know, you do wanna continue to use more and more energy, it is going to make your life better in so many ways. But that's not compatible, ultimately, with living in a finite solar system. And so we have to go out into other solar systems." – Some guy in the year 2569
The juice has lowered his voice to an insane degree π
What a smart and inspiring person!!
2 hours of comfortable conversation and he's a likable, humanized guy.
Such a great episode. Thank you, Lex. And thank you, Jeff!
TAX THE RICH
Lol I know y'all heard him say advanced life forms.
Building production facilities or living on the moon is the dumbest idea ever. Our moon governs all life on Earth. The smallest gravitational changes to the moon risk destroying all life on Earth
Imagine what could be achieved if they combined their money instead of developing their own rockets. Lex Luthor is so silly…
What did Jeff do to his voice? π sounds like he has been smoking a pack a day. I got to say steroids is one hell of a drug
Jeff Bezos is swole
Shocked that this comment section isn't overwhelmingly acknowledging that Bezos is an incredibly toxic and cuthroat monopolist
From afar I've never thought a great deal about Bezos but this discussion was great and changed my perception. On reflection all my previous jobs have had leaders that 'manage to metrics' without even considering what the metrics show.
This is an incredible interview
Antikethra mechanism
This planet is extraordinary, with a loving creator π«Άπ»
Seems a nice guy. I now feel better about buying stuff from Amazon.
