Jay-El – Little Bit [Grime/Trap Crime City Out Now!]

Bringing the lyricism of Black Eyed Peas to a level of grit I wasn’t ready for, I’ve been wanting to ring Dial-An-Opp after listening to this one.

Crime City
Bringing the sounds of the streets again, Crime City is another album full of a blend of samples, big beats and heavy bass. Seven tracks of heat, these ones I’ve been cooking up like Gordon Ramsey on a hot stove and is the follow-up to Trappist. Mainly a mixture of grime and trap tunes, there’s a more relaxed vibe to some of these – while still maintaining a grimy darkness and grittiness.

Using a wide blend of real instruments mixed with synths and big bass combines with the samples this one’s been making my head bop differently in the 1ft studio. As dark as a power cut in the countryside and as heavy as 9 foot of lead, these tunes are ready to have some fire verses buttered over them hot and fresh.

Who is Jay-El?
I’m a homegrown UK producer making mainly grime, trap, dubstep and drum and bass beats. Hobbiest and self-taught, I thought it was time to start releasing some of the bits straight from the 1 square foot studio I make all my music in. I make music because I like music, not as a job and I sample everything from old to new to help spread those people too. Big up the sunflower gang.

All production, mastering, videos and art done by me.

All samples used under Fair Use law, if you want to help support me, cop a free album download on BandCamp and drop me a donation.

If you’re an MC, especially if you’re Mist, Flowdan, Dizzee, Devlin, P Money or any of those other absolute OGs that see this (you can always hope), shout me to collab – [email protected]
