Java with Jimmy Live from the GBH Studio at the Boston Public Library

GBH News welcomes James “Jimmy” Hills, host of the Dorchester-based online show Java with Jimmy, to host a special “brew” of his show in front of a live audience at the GBH Studio in the Boston Public Library.

June 15 at 5 p.m. he’ll speak with Adrianna Boulin, President of Boston Pride for the People, to discuss how they addressed the inequities in Boston’s annual Pride Parade, the third largest in the country, and the ongoing work they will do to increase inclusion and diversity of Boston’s LGBTQ community during and beyond pride month.

Then James will welcome music producer Nate Nic and BAMS Festival Executive Director Catherine Morris to talk about the upcoming celebration of Black Music Month, and the power of art to remind us of our humanity.
