Jarod Lucas is a 6’4” shooting guard from Oregon State University who averaged a team best 13.5 points per game this year, knocking down 73 3-pointers while shooting 39% from downtown. He also shot 87% from the free throw line. Jarod has been using The Gun for about 8-9 years. He believes that he wouldn’t be the shooter he is today without the Gun as a reliable rebounder. Jarod strives to get in the gym and consistently make 300 shots daily on The Gun. One of his favorite drills is just going elbow to elbow and shooting off of the move, and Jarod believes that this elbow shot is found and useful at any level of basketball. One of his favorite features of The Gun is the ability to move spot to spot within a shooting workout. Jarod believes this helps mimic the game, because he is always having to move to the open spot in order to find an opening for a jump shot. He also likes that the crank on the back of the Gun allows the user to adjust the throwing distance to match the shot they are wanting to work on. Jarod would recommend the Gun because of its ability to consistently allow the shooter to get efficient repetitions, without having to call a rebounder.
