WOULD YOU LIVE HERE?? Let me know down below!!
We have a WHOLE PLAYLIST of Tiny Living videos in Japan now!!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-1Dwhh7dEc&list=PLtflILeTBlX_E6rFrloEFxP9reyc-fgHW
If you have a favorite, let me know down below!
I don't like curtain, why not have a small window with a regular blind, no need to have such big windows. It looks like a prison and feels like one too due to lack of privacy
The smallest tiny apartment on display would probably run you $1000 in Miami, except it wouldn't include utilities, wouldn't have any modern amenities or safety features, and would be part of a crumbling building built in 1935 that the landlord slapped on a fresh coat of lead paint. Sadly not even joking.
I have done time in cells bigger than these closets.
Forget it.
This would have been amazing when I was in university!
i would actually loooooooove to live in one of these
I'm very confused why people would be triggered about you doing these videos about tiny living spaces. There are those types who should not have survived the sperm race to the egg
What's with the rods at both ends of the first room's loft/bed area, and in the shower in the second?
Pretty good especially the fact there is a food service.
In parts of Canada, we have such a crunch right now for housing as well as the cost. I could see these as a great addition. We could put them in some of the unused industrial buildings.
Meanwhile Im spending £750 a month for a studio with only electricity and Water in the UK. its maybe half the size of the first room shown. with no loft space. and based on exchange rates, 90,000 yen a month is just under £500 a month and as low as £390 a month. what a bargain for what you get
I love these tiny apartment tours so much!! As someone living in a city with a major housing crisis where having multiple roommates is the only option I love the creativity of Japan’s tiny architecture!! The bathroom door for the last room is so clever!
That first apartment I think I could live in forever.
LMAO they totally made a meal thinking 'well he's American, lets make something kind of American-like'
It's not a bad thing, it's actually very sweet.
As a college student, this would be perfect to have your own small space to get away and focus on your work. I wouldn't mind living in these apartments for that time period. As for living in these conditions permanently or extended period of time outside of school – no. I am not one for the city life in general. Living like this with no end in sight would depress me greatly 😅
If I didn't have a family and I was single? I'd want the first apartment you showed. Just looking at it felt comforting. I say all of them were nice but definitely the first one I would want to live in.
This is a dystopian nightmare.
Is the roof metal or plastic? I wonder what the temperature is like in summer vs winter
Love the first one I would love to have one
I would do either the first or last apartment the second was to close fit for me
Best and well designed Tiny apartment plus a cafe!
They look like the prison cells we have here in Scandinavia
I liked the first one and the last one. The second one was not as well designed.
The meals are actually a nice benefit, but the rooms are just too small and inhumane to live in. People will go insane staying too long in them.
This is so nice! You can study 100% and don’t worry about what your meal is, its so good and healthy and looks great! And you have a nice stay to sleep and you can wash yourself in privet 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
And the place is good! And what I absolutely love; the place where it is built! Wouw! In this way you can preserve more nature and use everything your city has to offer without having to create additional building sites. 🌳🪴🐿️🦔🌹
Japan just getting it all right.
I was expecting something depressing but this looks nice
I would definitely prefer the first apartment
We could never do this in America. Inconsiderate assholes would trash these immediately.
Some of these apartments look like prisons
Crazy to think how much this kind of innovation would change the disastrous housing situation in the UK but literally nobody in government gives a fuck and or people who already have a home/probably multiple properties would find reasons to object to building these spaces
$372 AUD / month that translates to.
… I paid $100/week for a single room, at TAFE .. so this apartment is … very affordable! And spacious compared to my poxy little room… heck just having my own private toilet I didnt have to share would’ve been a godsend…
I could live in the tiny space but would miss trees and gardens too much.
Yes. Liveable.
