Kishida promoting free will about masks? I like this guy
Those uniforms from 150-years ago is pretty cool! It could be the uniform today!
Old shinbadhi station as the terminal station was a great information! Very exciting to know what it used to be 150 years ago.
In 2006 when I went back to Tokyo for a visit with my mother, she told me it is NOT decent to wear short pants as an adult in the public. Ohhh, how much has it changed!
And 90 years later , Japan built the world`s first high speed train (Shinkansen) ¡¡¡¡

150 year big achievement japan!!!! Yeh John I wished they didn’t have to take down the harajuku station also shame they couldn’t restore it not demolish it!!! 🥲
P.s Nakano midnight snack run get shinichi out too!!!! 😁✌🏻
The Kanji is right it's shin as in Chinese it's also pronounced shin not shim
Why no people unmask?‘ is it an Offense if don’t wear mask?
I will be staying at a hotel near Shimbashi station in March, very excited. I feel comfortable with the area since I've seen it on your channel so often.
Note on the masks, walk around Shinjuku and the number of people not masking is much higher than anywhere else I have been around Tokyo. During the day or night.
😊😊😊😊✨
This was an amazing livestream! I love Japan's trains and this was a great look back at the history of how it all began. I would have loved to be there to experience it personally. Thank you for bringing us along!
Why do japanese logos include English letters??
Anyone know if the increase in flights to Japan will decrease prices? Should I book flights now or wait? I’m planning my trip for Feb 20.
Huge thanks for the Livestream 👍
Its not the maglev. Looks more like the new shinkansen
Hi John, The beer cover looks very cool, the train cup look nice also, and the red porsche taycan looked nice.
in 2 days I will FIND YOU good sir! 🙂
Women used to go down and splash water on the engine. Being unfamiliar with machinery, they thought the steam was from exertion. That's so compassionate.
wont only in japan cause issues with that old company? always thought y u add jon to it?
I love how their uniform gives a lot of dignity to their job. I'd never notice these things about Japan if it wasn't for this channel 🥰.
Get the Shinkansen towel.
Watching this on Sat 15th Oct. Was fascinated by the Girl’s Keirin 10th poster.
Toot toot. Thanks for the historic celebration walkabout at current and old Shimbashi station. I have met friends at this train. It's so iconic like Hachiko. I think this location is easier to meet people than Shibuya.
A good video. And i'm jealous because of the steamtrain event. Plus food and merc. I have been there often. And stay there near a hotel.
Missed opportunity for "Japan's 150th Trainiversary" :p
