  1. The characters are from the manga / anime からかい上手の高木さん( Teasing Master Takagi-San). The setting is based on the town of Tonosho. Wholesome story about two middle school students who sit next to each other in school , Takagi ( girl MC) likes to tease Nishikata ( Male MC). He is clueless that she does this because she likes him. Hilarity ensues as they engage in a battle of wits as Nishikata is not well armed. Wikipedia has a more detailed description 😅

  2. So fun seeing the Seto Sea again by ship. Before the bridge was built the primary way to get to Shikoku from Honshu was by ferry. Even the train rode the sea on the ferry if I recall correctly. Anyway, seeing the seascape from the sea sure beats looking down from the struts of the girdered bridge.

  3. When you bought the coffee on the ferry there was a lady in front of you who received a bowl of some kind of green salad. Would you know what that was? I like to make and eat more Japanese foods can you recommend a cookbook?
