This whole thing was appalling. Stupid stunt. No helmet. Old car without side airbags. He's lucky to be alive. I hope the producers and safety team got sacked.

Feel like if James didn’t put the car into the slide he would of not been thing us, honestly if that EVO or even most cars drove straight into that wall most wouldn’t be alive, that tunnel isn’t moving so everything in front would of just crumbled and most likely pinned him in the car causing much worse injuries. I really believe that slide at the end saved his life

Side airbags. Aside from head-ons, hits to the side of the head are the most dangerous. You can get a nasty brain injury off almost nothing.

I thought this was fake… very very few times have we seen any of them get seriously injured.
Thought this “challenge” was going to be safer… they DID NOT make it safe.
Another reason I thought it was fake = No helmets. So it’s just editing that made it look like they were doing a stupid challenge like this.

Good idea, if this is at all 100% real, for all the emergency services to be sitting the other end of a mile long tunnel.
Well planned and staged, They even got Jeremy and the Crash in the same take, Also, how he crashed the car in one side and not by the front. Finally, no front view of the crash because they want to hide the stunt. Also, your friend badly crashes and you continue the show?

Not so Capt. Slow anymore eh? I wonder what happened there with the Evo. The red light is timed to give each driver enough time to stop… I wonder if the Evo had shoddy brakes.

All the times that they cock about, they make fun of one another. And then when something like this happens they are there for one another. This honestly was so heartfelt. The compassion and the respect they have for each other. They're like brothers. ❤️
When I first saw the challenge I thought it was just a bit so a setup, that they would have a marker indicating a safe braking point and it would be just for show, that nobody would be mad enough to drive that speed practically blind at a wall… I understand it's for entertainment but this was seriously fucking idiotic and I'm amazed they let it happen.
This is why may wants a 20 mph limit. The crash affected his brain. I understand it in city centres but not on most of Britain's roads.

I watched this on Amazon for the first time last night, so glad James is ok & fine now ❤️ he is my favourite out of the three. Also watched all of his Italian series over the weekend on Amazon Prime, it was very good, it relaxed me, he is a great man 👍

still dont know is this was for the program or real… 2:00 the camera whole the time on clarkson (0:54 camera adressed on exit the tunnel) and then 2:04 comin evo with the very strange angle…unnatural and strange, later may again crashed into lake…
