Hey Dan! I am an award winning television and film screenwriter, Sterling Anderson, who has been watching you since my dad told me, "no one is every going to watch a 24 hour news show." You probably even deserve some credit for my modicum of success because it's very lonely sitting and writing 8 to 12 hours a day. We writers need something to keep us in our seats (besides Brazilian bikini contest.) Anyway, my wife always asks me why do I love Dan Patrick more than the others and I tell her that you still have the fastball and will ask tough questions (even to your dead beat dad who doesn't support you financially, Jerry West.) I have never written any shows and the closest I ever got to you was Rich Eisen gave up his seat so my wife and I could sit together on a flight to St. Louis. All that said, I really loved your interview with Jamal Crawford. It was so enjoyable, light, funny, intelligent… made me smile. Kind of a "walk off home run" before the playoffs. Not great news but still a great moment. I appreciate it because write now I'm doing a civil war limited series (so damn draining) and times are so upside down, right now. I seemed to have lost my smile. But you made me smile, today… as always. Thank you and the infamous "Danettes."
