No, the scammer didn't call the WRONG person, they called the RIGHT person. Nothing gets done by government until one of the governments own gets called, threatened and scammed. Why hasn't the government jumped on this before now? I've been fighting scammer calls for years. Government protection is such a stupid joke!

Fun fact: scamming is good for economy. Economy doesn't like people saving dead money in the banks, it's all about circulation. With each transaction, more taxes are taken, among other things.
So the government really doesn't have incentive to do anything, except in the case of nepotism
