  1. Steve, you are driving me crazy with all your great wildlife photos! I live in SW Colorado with a resident herd of elk and make my best effort photographing them. They are hunted every year, so approach in photo range can be tricky. I have done reasonably well with cows and calves (lots of calves this year), but the magical image of a big bull still waits for me. Often I shoot from the
vehicle or a stationary blind, but occasionally I have had luck stalking. Rut is coming and I am still hoping for the great bull shot. Love your photos, videos and vlogs!

  3. Steve, after watching your vlogs for several years and rewatching each one several times, I have finally pulled the trigger on a trip to the Tetons. I will be there for the first week of October. I would love to buy you lunch to thank you for all you have done. I would not be doing this trip if not for you. Thank you from New Hampshire.

  4. Explain a little more your comment about shooting real deep with all your crops and stuff. What MM is the lens and what and how did you crop to get to 1200mm. And also, do you use your auto focus or do manual focus on these type shots? TIA.
