I think you should tag there babies on there talons, with blue or pink tags,acording to the sex and a coloured stripe acording to the year they were born. That way you would definitely know who the eagle is.
The eagles do come back to the area where they were hatched and I agree that the coloring looks right. Since there is no way to know for sure, I think I'll believe that it's Spirit.

Incredible ! Definitely a young eagle visiting. There was no aggressive attitude toward the youth eagle. We can't tell But, I believe it was Spirit !

What happend to eggs?
I’m so glad you have chosen from the beginning to name the eagles. It makes it so much more personal and the connection runs deeper. I have been following with my young students since early February. They come to class on Monday with lots of stories of what J&S have been up to, and there have been so many teachable moments, especially with the loss of the unviable eggs to the ravens. There is another eagle cam I’m loosely following but it is harder to connect with the eaglets due to the numbering system used to name them. Anthropomorphism gets the kids excited! Thanks for all your hard work. We really appreciate your efforts.
