Dude, I started watching your channel when you first started playing Frostpunk and I've been subscribed ever since. Your playthroughs of Frostpunk and Surviving Mars have been pure art, and I've missed you and wondered what happened to you. This, however, was just sloppy, and I'm starting to think that all that time off has put you out of practice. You need to pause more, go through the storyline more slowly (I know you want to find out what happens, but man, have some patience for crying out loud). Let's enjoy the game and explore it, if it takes 20 episodes then so be it, I really want to watch you beat this game. Now come on, let's restart this thing and do it right this time.

40:52 You should really pay attention to your notification tab, your crew is dying left and right because they weren't treated that's why the workload rose up to overtime, same goes for your broken buildings and so on, that's why you lost

Nice video skye,i watched a few of your videos when you played surviving mars which made for a better game for me,just recently i popped back for a look as i thought you may have had a look at Knights of Honor 2 Sovereign,are you planning on having a look at it at some stage?as im thinking of getting it.

I believe you didn’t have a resource needed for the one building that was causing you havoc, every time you scroll over the damaged building it said 8(resource ?) of something u had 0 of.

Great video! My guess is that the downward spiral was triggered by the 79 homeless, which caused the high rate of accidents in the first place.
You can't run the game at 4x speed AND run your mouth like a little girl just home from her first day at school. You can run the game briefly at 4x for something to happen, but you have to turn it down, read, observe, react, etc.
remember: red signs are bad. please give it another shot and fight the red plaque.
If your short on resources don't forget to upgrade your existing buildings in the research menu. Research points seem plentiful.
Ooooh, I can sympathise. I'm playing thru myself & everything was going swimmingly until … I needed space for the steel mill (1st-runthru bad planning on my part, admittedly). So I opened up the 2nd Sector without really having a clue what I was doing. It all went pear-shaped pretty quickly after that. No strikes/riots yet & I'm still in there but it's not looking promising – hull integrity REALLY messes with you the lower it gets.
I have to admit, like you, I was disappointed the hull managed to hang on as long as it did in your playthru. I would have much rather seen a cinematic, worthy of the game's graphics, with the ship disintegrating & Skye being ejected into space with his arse ablaze, rather than the boring riot image we got. Part of me is little concerned & thinking it ended the way it did because there is no big, flash cinematic of the ship blowing up … Here's hoping I'm wrong & there is one, either already or on the way very soon.
That aside, watching a 'pro' screw it up just like I do makes me feel much better … my excuse is that it's my first playthru – what's yours? 😂 More, please?

Thank you for the video! Don't let this playthrough dishearten you. I'm excited to see you conquer this game like you did Frostpunk. Don't be afraid to slow it down or pause a bit. Honestly, seeing you struggle a little showed that you are not some resource management superhuman. Let your community learn with you <3 and keep up the good work! This is going to be a good series.
you are missing 8 of something to repair that building, it even showed you every time you hovered over it while you were moaning (can't find a better word for it) about it not getting repaired.

If you disassembled the lab you would've recovered easily.
you actually get full refund for destroying buildings if you didn't know yet, I specifically tested it.
Dude Skye my man, my bud, my guy. Look down in the bottom left corner of your screen. It wasn't the science lab that was causing ya the most issues. It was your sector stability and Work Conditions which is represented in the lower left corner it woulda told ya what was really wrong but ya didn't look at it once when you were trying to save the ship. The reason things kept exploding was because your stability and work conditions got out of hand. That seems to be the thing that is taking down a lot of people. Keep ahead on stability that is the thing that comes out of nowhere and beats the crap out of ya. Also like everyone else said slow down the clock too jeez man.

The amount of comments from people forgetting they were watching a bonehead at work!
I assume having an army of homeless people caused the majority of explosions. These guys sleep at their work places so even the tinyest stress can get out of hand due to sleepwalking workers trying to fill quotas.
I think this is a game where you will absolutely have to use the notifications to the side. You can't visually keep track of everything at once.
So glad your playing these.
