It's Worth the Wait – Bishop T.D. Jakes

After blowing through his inheritance in the worst ways possible, the Prodigal Son found himself penniless and starving. Desperate, he ended up working in disgusting pig pens with an appetite for slop! He eventually had an epiphany about his horrid behavior and returned to his father, repenting and asking just to be hired as a servant. Instead of shaming him, his father ran to him and welcomed him with open arms! Like the dad in this parable, God has unwavering,โ€ฏunconditionalโ€ฏlove for you and is waiting for you to come back home! On this Fatherโ€™s Day, let us embrace Him and find solace in His everlasting love and forgiveness.

  2. Eph 5:23 – "For the husband is the head of the wife…." Women! Let the man be a father and the head of his family. Stop trying to control him and acting like you are both the WIFE AND HUSBAND when he is present! Some of you say "my husband is very kind and soft, I have to be the strong one"…โ€ฆyou are sabotaging his God given position in the family and your actions are directly from the pits of hell! Y'all wait until you get married and then you throw the Bible out of the window and embark on implementing your 'control' plan – agent EVE (bring in the apple)! So yes, "shut up" and just be his wife. Quit trying to overrule him ALL the time because you are "opinionated", about all he has to say or do. SUPPORT him, YES support (be behind him), because you were the one who decided to marry him. If (scenario), your husband is a gardener and your best friend's husband is a computer programmer whose finger nails are always well trimmed and polished, it will be wrong for you to want your husbands nails to look like that of your best friend's husband's nails all the time. Because as a gardener, he will have dirty hands most of the times from his work. So don't nag him or lecture him when he gets soil underneath his nails now and again. I have come to realise (in my 40s) that most women will get upset when been told the truth, be they Christians or not!!

  3. ๐Ÿ˜ข This is very powerful. I'm going Is through something in my life. That only god could help me with. I have heard someone I love dearly. More than one time. It's time for it to stop.
