Deadlock guides, news & breakdowns will be posted regularly to this channel. This channel aims to focus on Deadlock carry heroes, including Seven, Haze, Wraith & Infernus.
the slot machines at 8 minutes not only give a really nice amount of souls but also garantied perma buffs
you channel description and even in videos you say it's about more carry heros. but all videos for now where either pretty unspecific and help all heroes or where specific for seven. what about Haze, Wraith & Infernus?
The early power of seven is his ability to get farming online insanely fast. Maximizing that by maxing ball makes significantly more sense than putting points into stun early. Why go for "potential" kills in lane with stun when you can just insta-push the wave and farm for GUARANTEED souls elsewhere. You're also forcing the enemy team to farm under tower, keeping them from being able to farm their surrounding jungle as consistently since they are risking missing wave farm.
Stun in lane will only matter against overly aggressive enemies who are constantly out of position and/or have bad stamina management. Banking on the enemy to make mistakes for your strat to work is almost always bad for even moderately high lvl play.
Rushing escalating is better than rushing boundless. Escalating provides more DPS in my testing than boundless does. The +60 Spirit is only an extra 30dps on the ball but the 5% damage buff per stack, which stacks a lot with the ball, will result in more DPS. Furthemore you're only getting an extra 175 hp. Ive begun to see some builds that wait to buy improved and extra spirit all together just to buy boundless in one go at the end of the game. I can understand why this philosophy exists as items that provide other buffs beyond just spirit are better utility, but i see now point in not getting them along the way.
Soul shredder is a trap. Spiritual overflow and escalating are sevens Core items. Overflow is just better soul shredder. save the 1250 and the slots.
You are 100% incorrect with your analysis of improved reach. Yes, it makes your balls bigger, but its hardly noticeable, but it is the best thing to imbune. The better part of Reach is the 25% range buff to your stun and your 3. So to say you're not focusing on your 3 build with it at all is incorrect.
Furthermore, i used to also focus on 3 and ran SoP but in testing its not as good as you would think. You can basically get the same thing with Fleetfoot and save the souls. Fleetfoot is also going to allow you to move quicker as you can shoot and move at the same time when farming. Especially since the damage change on your 3 is only 6.8, its not the big of a change to even be noticeable. Sure it "lasts longer" but if you go for improved duration on your stun, which like… why wouldn't you. You have 100% uptime regardless. You basically have 60% uptime without duration all together just from natural spirit scaling just improved spirit and your other items like escalating, rapid recharge, mystic slow, and reach. Base duration extender or cooldown pushes you towards 75%. Both puts you at 90%. Boundless alone puts you at 70%. Combine with one of those items and your at 85%. Those 4 seconds arent going to be noticeable and they come with better utility as well.
You talk about how good mystic slow is, and you're correct its a great item especially since it meshes well not just with the ball for its T2 movement slow, but also with your 3. Furthermore, let me introduce you to "Slowing Bullets" which will further stack on your 3. Mystic Reverb is also a great choice for this as you make it harder to escape your ball which stacks more damage.
Finally, you buy a lot of useless items that just get sold later. Extra health is unnecessary outside of the lane. That 160 health buff is not going to make a difference outside of that, besides Extra Regen or Enduring spirit will be more helpful in lane anyways. Furthermore, 1 T2 item, like spirit lifesteal, is going to provide the essentially the same buff as extra health and its not getting sold later. Soul rebirth is a meme on seven its only good on characters that have great healing like Giest, or damage negators like Pocket in his case or Viscious Cube. Dont get me wrong, Seven has incredible lifesteal once you get leech. Before the lifesteal stacking nerf, my old build granted 98% spirit life steal naturally. Not including the Bullet lifesteal gained from leech. Back then soul shredder was worth the slot for the 25% to go beyond 98% but after that nerf, its just worse spiritual overflow.
You should be focusing on items you will actually keep not sell later.
I like your vids, but the channel name is a bit misleading, to the point of frustration. Not really covering deadlock, it's just a seven fan boy channel
Idk, if u buy Bounless Spirit as 1st 6k, might as well buy improoved spirit+carpet instead(if have a slot, most games u do). U will be just 5 spirit short from B.Spirit, and carpet stats and active still worth it over 150 health and some weapon dmg
Hi Drongo, here is a minor thing that I noticed to improve quality of life. At 5:20 you had your 4 ability avalible. If it is early game and you haven’t unlocked your ability yet, you can actually hold down your 4 or any other ability that you are unlocking for the first time to unlock it. This makes life easier than having to back up, go into upgrades and click on your 4
wow no surge of power on the 1. Ok guys this guy doesn't know what he's talking about, move on. Makes 0 sense to put it on 3 instead of the 1 where you can have upto 100% uptime. On the 3 you have it up every 30 seconds
Why not put power surge on balls? You are throwing them all the time anyway, to farm or to kill, i sometimes throw 1st just so i can run faster under power surge buff. I understand the permannet spirit buff is good, but, is it really worth it having such a strong buff tied to ability you can't spam?
the old e shift carpet combo was such a trap. literally putting you 9k behind on power when you could just have more map awareness. you think that carpet saves you from losing fights but fail to realize it's what's losing you fights in the first place. even if you died like 5 times splitpushing you still would have better items than you would buying carpet.
this guy cannot admit that magic carpet wasnt viable in the first place. Like who tf gonna listen to his bs guides, hes not even a good player in the first place. It's one thing to make content on deadlock and a different story trying to providing gameplay guidance on deadlock. I also find his video description goofy like wdym channel focus on carry heros as if solo carrying is what makes you good at the game. It's giving hardstuck gold reyna main vibes.
Magic carpet is the most troll item of all time haha. Its majestic leap but costs more

People were building carpet on seven? what a waste item is and always has been kind of a meme
I had the Seven bug thing happen with Mirage too. His Djinn's Mark took me out of Magic Carpet when the damage 'executed' on its own.
the bug is a network client/server error for sure

I didn't know that only seven people played Deadlock as their main game, I thought it was more popular.
Carpet also breaks when seven ball kills a creep

Drongo REALLY likes Seven
stop what

Play a different character, very boring content
Surge of power on 1 allows for an almost 100% uptime while put on 3 has a 33% uptime at best…
You should do tournament analysis vids
Pretty much only drongo used magic carpet, idk why we need a whole video on something that was already off-meta

what do you think about putting quicksilver reload on power surge?
why would you buy extra health during the jungle phase then sell it for spirit lifesteal? Makes no sense

you said you ran the numbers on rapid recharge. what are the numbers?
Why not put power surge on balls?

Hardstuck alchemist ranks be like đź’€
I think magic carpet is good because you get to fly like aladdin which I always wished for when i was young

Everyone is sleeping on warp stone. It gives you a much needed escape and better ult position
I'd like to know about sharpshooter. Was that interaction removed? Is it not worth it afterall?
