  8. Absolutely perfect. This really in the game of the year. It improved on the original and added so much more new stuff. I genuinely believe this surpasses RE2R, especially with added survival horror elements. I can't wait to see more

  9. After almost 20 hours of gameplay the best game of all time has been completed! I'm so glad that you had a good time with it and hope you can get many more hours than the original.(Also I love the fact that the ending kind of retconned the existence of there being a re5 and 6)

  10. I am so glad I wasn't proven wrong when I said the RE4 Remake is how you should do a remake. I'm glad to see Phil really enjoy the game. Although I couldn't stick around for the whole stream, that just means more surprises are in store for me when I decide to play it. Thanks for peaking my interest in Resident Evil Phil.

  14. It’s cathartic seeing Phil be so happy with the remake of his favorite game of all time. My favorite game of all time (Kirby’s Return to Dream Land) also just got remade a month ago, so it’s nice to see another remake that also greatly expands the already incredible content and gives new lore bombshells that make you sit down and think for a long time. Phil’s hype reactions were exactly mine a month ago, lol. For me back then, it felt like I was playing my favorite game for the very first time, so I hope the same goes for Phil with this game, because that’s the highest honor a remake can achieve.

  18. My god this game was so good, a definitive improvement of the original and added so much too it! My only real complains are Ada’s voice and funny giant statue chase being gone. But other then that this game is absolutely fantastic! Have a nice night Phil, see you for tomorrows stream!

Resident evil 5 and 6 are still canon, Ada never gave him the plagas sample in original either but gave him a fake plaga and that only delayed wesker, he expected her to betray him as she brought the actual sample to the orginization. so eventually wesker and tricell got their hands on an actual sample so yes re5 and 6 still happened and yes re5 will most likely be remade. only difference here is that ada just doesn't bother giving him the real one or a fake one which still has the same affect of delaying weskers plans.

  21. I think the Ending means Ada doesn't give plaga to Wesker
    But someone will probably take it from her
    Its hopefully more a retcon for RE6 than RE5 as we never saw the amber be destroyed she just dipped

    Considering the MCU ass post credit scene I feel we might get the RE5 remake after all
    I'd love that personally as I think that game needs a little tweaking to make it as awesome as RE4

    Personally I think we may get a DLC or even a new game explaining wha happened to the amber
    Maybe the separate ways DLC that's bound to happen will have an epilogue?

  28. The Regenerators haunted my dreams as a kid, I remember having to pause the game hearing the breathing to get the courage before I continued lol
