The West’s “moral presumption” that it is saving the planet is actually driven by a hatred of humanity, Clinical Psychologist Dr Jordan Peterson says.
Dr Peterson told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan as a result, the West is now hoisted on its own petard of “foolishness and moral presumption”.
“We’re saving the planet … I don’t think so,” he said.
“All the measures you’re putting in place are actually making the environmental problem worse.
“It’s just like what George Orwell said about middle-class socialists 50 years ago – it’s not that you love the planet, it’s that you hate humanity.”
The public intellectual said how foolish western leaders were to sell the soul of the West for Russia’s oil and gas in an effort to “raise our moral stature” in saving the planet.
“You cannot win against someone you cannot say no to,” he said.
“And we can’t say no to Putin, because we sold our soul for his oil and gas – and we did that to elevate our moral stature in relationship to saving the planet.
“So here we are, facing a very dire winter.”

I have great respect, and admiration for Jordan Peterson. It was my confidence in him that I stayed through the video, I'm glad i did. Recently, I've heard some of his video's which he seems almost to praise Putin, basically saying Putin will not be defeated, Putin will not fail. I really don't believe that is what he was saying in this video, I was impressed when I heard him quote from I believe the book 1984; 'it's not that you love the planet, it's that you hate humanity.' He also made a very important point that it is the leftist Europeans, leftist throughout the world US, Canada all of it who are destroying by every measure Western civilization by worshiping the bogus save the planet idiocy. I do not believe Putin/Russia will 'win this war, regardless, I would not encourage them..

I agree with most of what JP says except for the “everyone has a bit of hitler in them.” He’s completely off here, Hitler came to power because of loopholes in Germany’s legislature and not too many bad actors who participated in the takeover.
