NASA wants to use it to land American astronauts on the moon. The Pentagon wants to use it to whisk military cargo around the world in minutes. Astronomers, satellite companies and aspiring space tourists are eyeing its potential to drastically slash the cost of getting to space. Elon Musk says it is “the holy grail of space technology” and sees it as crucial to his ultimate goal of colonizing Mars.
It is called Starship, and for SpaceX, Mr. Musk’s private space company, it is the future. Its success or failure may determine whether the company achieves his dreams.
Interestingly, as SpaceX continues ground tests of its Starship Superheavy rocket ship in preparation for its first orbital flight, scientists finally reveal the great potential of Starship that could change the space industry forever!

Great ShrillX, sorry no, 'starship' if it even works will NOT be launching 3 times and day and the booster will not be refueled in less than an hour. Its incredible that people still believe Musk's exaggerated bullshit.
It will be years and years before 'starship' flies people, if it ever does, it has no escape mechanism and the flip manouver during landing with probably cause most people to have a stroke.
These unrealistic expectations will eventually have a very bad affect on spaceX and possibly the entire space industry …..

NASA vs SpaceX. Imagine that it’s a trip overseas on Earth.
NASA Leaving American continent towards Europe and using a disposable giant tugboat to pull to sea. When far away in sea, sink tugboat. Sail with tiny ship. Land in Europe with a smaller boat, do what survey must be done. Come back to America. Once there burn and sink ship and come back to land on rowboat without a paddle.

Would be a great advance if an orbital factory could produce methane in orbit from water and co2 drawn from the atmosphere.

Methane is also a larger molecule than hydrogen ..hydrogen molecules are so small that they can fit through the aluminum skin if the NASA rockets, hence leakage no matter how well the welds are applied 🙁

Starship is good for putting cargo and materials in LEO and also for moon missions. That's about it. It's not for deep space, due to the lack of a spinning section, that would generate "artificial gravity", for deep space, interplanetary missions. Zero gravity is deadly hence the only way we will explore the solar system and colonize it is with spacecraft that have spinning sections. Starship is great for building logistical infrastructure near Earth and on the moon.
a 1 year trip across our planetary system vacation might be possible in a few decades.

Artificial gravity
Magnetic shielding to protect against solar and cosmic radiation
