It's HIGH TIME We Get A NEW Single Player Batman Game

Just when is a continuation of Rocksteady’s seminal Arkham series coming? This video aims to unpack all the speculation rife across the internet as to exactly when and how another Arkham game will happen.

Of course, it can’t be ignored that a VR exclusive Arkham game is happening, and whilst this is set to be a prequel it’ll still add meat to the bones of an already established franchise.

What we want though, what everybody wants, is a new single player Batman game. If it’s to be the fifth entry in Rocksteady’s Arkham series, then it’ll need to counteract Warner Bros. live service strategy, which – given their doggedness to plough through with more free-to-play titles – seems unlikely. Fans are vocal across the web, it just depends if WB will listen.

  1. I love how gamingbolt is hoping for a new Batman Arkham game, the main reason is everyone responsible for the original Arkham trilogy is gone so what is the point. Yes David Zaslav is pushing WB games to become a live service company, but that isn’t at the heart of it. I really wish they would do a little more research before putting out these videos. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

  2. There are two ways that Rocksteady can redeem themselves. Firstly, release a remaster of Arkham Knight for the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Secondly, develop a new game that returns to series roots, taking place after Arkham Knight, but ignores Suicide Squad's existence, and has Tim Drake as the player character becoming Batman's successor

  3. If they do i hope joker stays out of the game this time don't get me wrong joker is amazing but let other get the spotlight. Origins black mask pushed aside to force in joker as the big bad, knight scarecrow pushed aside for dead joker to be the main villain. Let the clown rest please. Even the suicide squad 1st dlc was joker smh. Batman has 1 of the biggest rogues in comics. Use it

  4. Since when do corporations give customers what they want? They sell us what makes them the most money. If we’re REALLY lucky, what we want and what makes them the most money coincides, but most of the time, it’s us making compromises for them. That, more than anything, is why the gaming industry is dying. Greed destroys everything.

  5. I would like to see an open world 3rd person Batman game that takes place in the Adam West universe with cartoon "Baam!" and "Pow!" during fights. It should have ridiculous evil plots and costumes and vehicles and lean into the Bat themed things like Bat-sub and Bat-rope with at least a couple of wall climbing actions and cameos.

  6. Fans "We want an origins sequel"

WB "We have no plans for more single player games and are busy with Suicide Squad"

Meta "We will make an origins sequel bring back the voice talent and make a full game from an entirely new perspective with new mechanics"

    Fans "Inaudible screaming"

  7. If we can get an Arkham Knight remaster/remake for the current gen consoles, that should be enough. Coz to create a game of this calibur, not sure if any studio will take up the initiative. It feels like the entire industry wants to move past Batman and it expects its fans to do the same!!
