  1. crystal, yopu need to get your husband out there talking to the boys about being cool, being suave, being a gentleman, acting relaxed and yet in charge. it reminds me of 9th grade sock hop at high school with all the boys slicking back their hair and strutting up to the girls who are looking a bit worried.

  2. So how much does it cost to start a goat herd? I’m saving up to get a new house with some land so I could have some goats for milk and chickens down the road, but don’t know the general cost

  3. So funny how each buck acts so differently with the ladies. It’s odd watching this year, seems like such a small amount of does breeding. I know your reasoning, just so weird to see it actually happening (I want out of So. Az too!) 😂

  4. 12 does is going to make delivery season SO SO SO much easier for you! I know it was hard to sell some, and get the number of does down, but I am so happy to know you’ll have an easier time of it. Plus, while I know the little ones are the main income, and having less will mean taking a hit, having less to bottle feed and tattoo and vaccinate, etc, will also make it easier. Cannot wait to see them all in a few months!!!

  5. It's getting exciting! I miss being able to breed in August/September, and now I can't do that since it always snows here in WV in January/February. 🤣🤣 May and Daisy are my favorite does from you guys. I'd love to buy a doeling or buckling from y'all. Maybe next year!

  6. it would be funny to compare next year Mia and Mobie since the first is a stunning May granddaughter and the later is the last daughter of May. And see how similar they are what different strengths they have ftom their different sire lines

  8. Wow what a low-key breeding season, Crystal. Very nice!! This was a really interesting and informative video, with the weight/ girth of the does and the weight of the bucks.
Every single one of your goats is glowing with health. Your herd management is the benchmark.
Best of luck for a successful and productive breeding season 💗Thank you for posting this on YouTube.

  9. Did you keep any does that you aren't breeding this year? I ask, because, Cassie is one of my favorites (as I call her my namesake!). Lol. I didn't know if you placed her in another home, since I know you are down-sizing for the eventual move to Arkansas.

  10. Crystal yayyyy, breeding season started….can't wait to see the babies for this srason and from Hank because he got good lines from daddy Lucky. Oregon ladies will have gorgeous babies as well. I love all the goats but I have a special place in my heart for Mayo and Dreamer❤❤. Have a good weekend guys and sending blessings from Michigan ❤
