I'm happy you are playing, I said it in the chat, but is hard for me to watch the stream on Sundays, so I didn't know if you had a chance to read, my advice is, play in easy, don't do side stories that aren't related to important characters in the story, don't play mini-games…and hold on to the story with all your soul, because it's excellent…(most of the time, there is one thing that is kind of Yakuza not that good) and the best thing about the game, because yes I admit it's unfortunate that everything else is not that good…at last in my opinion, but the story is super relevant and defining for Kiryu as a character.
For all its jank, there's gonna be a lotta heart in this game, and I'm glad y'all still went back for it.

Yakuza 3 is a sub-par Yakuza game, thereby making it still an excellent game. This game was unfortunately developed during the growing pains many developers we're going through in developing for the PS3/360 era.

the wrong controller bindings are definitely a problem with the microsoft store version only, didnt happen to me on steam.
whenever they reach yakuza 6 i hope theyll use the japanese music restoration patch, the japanese tracks are a lot more emotional than the western replacements
Great to see you guys play another Yakuza game after so long. Also good that you play on easy. That fight with Rikiya and how often he blocked convinced me that was a good decision.
