Itinerary of Charles and Camilla's Australia visit revealed

The much-anticipated itinerary for King Charles and Queen Camilla’s Royal visit to Australia this month has been revealed.

The five-day tour will run from October 18 through October 23.

The pair will land Friday evening – officially beginning the king’s 16th trip in the country and his first since ascending to the throne.

Saturday has been designated as a personal rest day – factored in to accommodate King Charles’ health as he pauses his cancer treatment over the trip.

No official details have been released for the Sunday – but it is understood Their Majesties will attend a barbecue in Western Sydney with First Nations representatives in attendance.

Official duties will begin on the Monday when the pair head to Canberra- both will lay a wreath for fallen soldiers at an Australian War Memorial ceremony.

From there, the Monarchs will be received by an official reception at Parliament House – before a crowd of politicians, community leaders and ‘prominent Australians.’

On Tuesday, the Royal couple will return to Sydney – and are expected to meet Australians of the Year and cancer researchers Professors Georgina Long and Richard Scolyer.

Members of the public will also get the chance to meet the King and Queen on the Opera House Forecourt.

Finally, King Charles will conduct a fleet review in Sydney Harbour while the Australian Navy, Air Force and Army conduct a fly-past.

  1. English smarting from being kicked out of America and created a constitution for the people with all the protection come to Australia and created a constitution for the oligarchs and no Bill of rights with no protection today is proof of the betrayal

  2. Come on Australia, he is a ceremonial king along with the rest of the family. Wake up and ditch him. He says he wont stand in the way when there is absolutely nothing he can do about it.
